The Yellow Kirby is a Kirby that appears in a handful of Kirby games. He was based off of the original plan that Kirby would be yellow (as was envisioned by Shigeru Miyamoto). He usually appears in mini-games and the Super Smash Bros. series as an alternate color for Kirby. In Kirby & the Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad the yellow spray paint makes Kirby look like this.
Personality
As a separate being from Kirby, Yellow Kirby tends to be the most clumsy of the others. This is shown in artwork for some games.
Notable Yellow Kirby
- Needle Kirby is yellow.
- Beam Kirby is slightly yellow in Kirby Super Star.
- The yellow Kirby from Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
- The yellow Kirby clone from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.
- In Super Smash Bros. the default color for a second Kirby is always yellow.
- In Kirby Super Star Ultra's Gourmet Race a yellow Kirby is played by player two if it is a multiplayer race. Interestingly, this yellow Kirby has alternate colors for its abilities than normal Kirby as well (such as Wheel having a light blue cap rather than a red one).
In Kirby Air Ride, the player can play Yellow Kirby when you start a new game, as a default color for Kirby, also like Blue, Red, and Pink Kirbies.
Trivia
- The yellow Kirby and Keeby are seperate characters because Keeby first appeared in Kirby's Dream Course, while Yellow Kirby appeared when Dark Meta Knight seperated Kirby into three more Kirbys in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.
