Yabui is an infrequently-used character only appearing in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. He is the only doctor in Cappy Town. He runs a small, low tech clinic, but doesn't get many bad cases aside from colds, toothaches, and the occasional case of sleeping sickness. Many of the Cappies don't like visiting him, as he has many painful strategies of fighting cavities.
Yabui is an elderly Cappy with horn-shaped hair and a thick gray mustache and eyebrows. He wears a stethoscope, a light blue apron, a white shirt and glasses that don't show how his eyes look like.
Personality[]
Like most doctors, Yabui is very smart and knows how to take care of his patients and give advice on how to get better, even though he may exaggerate from time to time, like pulling out a giant pair of pilers to extract a rotten toothA Dental Dilemma. He is described as stereotypically clinical, and has no problems talking to people in a straight manner that would otherwise be sensitive and discrete information. He is quite curious for his age, as is appropriate for someone scientifically-minded, often being seen engaging in a form of event occurring in various episodes' proceedings. Interestingly, even though he is a doctor, Yabui is terrified of needles, which causes him to faint at the sight of one even when he's not the one being injected.
Etymology[]
His name is a pun of a Japanese term, yabuisha, which means a doctor with little or no medical expertise.
Quotes[]

It means if he doesn't have chips soon, he's gonna have a chip flip-out! But no matter how bad it gets, we mustn't let him have any more chips. Unless his system normalizes, he'll keep on having these snack attacks!”
