Trivia[]

  • Wrestler borrows many traits from Fighter and Suplex, and can be considered a fusion of the two, utilizing hand-to-hand combat maneuvers and grappling.
    Wrestling Mask Headgear
    • In Kirby Battle Royale, Fighter has a Wrestling Mask Headgear that resembles the appearance of Wrestler.
    • As Suplex is also a wrestling-based Copy Ability, Wrestler has various moves that are borrowed from or variants of Suplex's moves: Wrestler Pinpoint Kick, Wrestler Fury Stomp, Tackle Grab, Blazing Back Breaker, Air Suplex, and Rolling Breaker are all versions of Pinpoint Kick, Fury Stomp, Turbo Dash Grab, Back Breaker, Big Suplex, and Rock Drop respectively.
  • Wrestler's Meteor Plancha appears to be based on Incineroar's Up Special, Cross Chop, from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, even sharing Cross Chop's fire effects.
    • One of Wrestler's Rare Hats, the Roaring Mask, further supports this, as it is based on a lion, a common counterpart to the tiger, which Incineroar is based on.
    • Flying Dropkick may be based on Kirby's forward aerial from Super Smash Bros., Corkscrew Kick.
  • Wrestler's pose in official artwork seems to be based on Kirby's character selection artwork from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with one hand and one foot raised up and the features aligning almost perfectly, with the exception of the mask and the angry frown.
