Wobbly Woods is a large enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack. It is a member of the Whispy Woods family.

Physical Appearance[]

Wobbly Woods is one of the tallest trees of Green Grounds, second only to Whispy Woods himself. Unlike the other trees encountered in the games, Wobbly Woods dwells in a river as opposed to planting its roots in the ground. By doing so, its partly-submerged trunk has been eroded down to the point where its two halves are precariously balanced on top of one another, making it very unstable.

Additionally, Wobbly Woods displays more wear and tear; its bark has started to chip and crack, and it is devoid of any sort of leafy canopy on its upper branches. Instead, it has a small accumulation of leaves on the branches by the face, giving the implication of balding.

Games[]

Kirby Mass Attack[]

Wobbly Woods appears exclusively in Stage 8 of Green Grounds. When the Kirbys use Floaty Woods to cross the river, their "raft" bumps into Wobbly Woods. Angered by this, Wobbly Woods attempts to topple over and fall on the Kirbys; if it succeeds, all Kirbys are instantly KO'd. To avoid this fate, the player must flick the Kirbys into it and knock it down the other way.

After thwarting the foe, the Kirbys can use it as a platform to progress deeper into the forest.
