— Elfilin • Kirby and the Forgotten Land |
Winter Horns is the fourth level of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It is unlocked by completing Wondaria Remains, and its completion unlocks Originull Wasteland. King Dedede appears as the boss of this level, requiring 23 Waddle Dees to access his stage.
Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams combines all the level's stages into its fourth level, called Forgo Horns.
Games[]
Kirby and the Forgotten Land[]
Winter Horns appears to be the remnants of a large metropolis similar to London, with long-abandoned brick high-rises, clock towers, a flooded subway, and long-dead houseplants. A common hazard in this level is freezing water found towards the bottom of many areas; Kirby (and most enemies, with Balloon-Meisters being the exception) cannot swim in this water and will freeze solid and take damage if he falls in it, causing him to be returned to land. Most of the stage Windy, Freezing Seas also pits Kirby against strong, sustained winds that can make it difficult for Kirby to stay on solid ground. The Battle of Blizzard Bridge mostly forgoes platforming challenges (with the exception of side rooms for some of the stage's hidden Waddle Dees) in favor of a series of mid-boss battles, ending in a battle with a pair of Wild Frostys; a secret path can be found at the beginning of the stage by going to the left of the bridge, climbing up the side, and entering a window, which will instead pit Kirby against pairs of most of the mid-bosses (with the exception of Wild Frosty, where Kirby is first faced with a lone Wild Frosty before being attacked by two Wild Frostys and a pair of Shotzos).
