Hey guys, Plasmaster here with my first Kirby theory. Today's theory is about the Haltmann Works Company from Kirby: Planet Robobot. Warning: Spoilers for Planet Robobot ahead, read at your own risk.

Okay, so my theory is that Magolor's race, the people of Halcandra, have fled their home planet and that the last remaining members of Magolor's race are the people of the Haltmann Works Company.

Both Susie and President Max Profitt Haltmann, higher-ups of the Haltmann Works Company, have floating hands that are not connected to their body. They do appear to have more mechanized bodies than that of Magolor though, so why is this? Well, I think that they left Halcandra because they either discovered Magolor's plans and didn't want to get involved with it, OR after Magolor tried to defeat Landia the first time (and failed), the other Halcandrans fled as Landia rampaged. When they left, they built a spaceship and set out to find a new home planet; they brought along much of their advanced technology, which was manufactured in the factory levels seen in Return to Dreamland. They used this technology to 'upgrade' their bodies with mechanical parts so that they can survive the long trip through space.

On their journey they come across the Nova, Star Dream. They use their technology to capture Star Dream and harness its magical abilities to further enhance the power of their spaceships and technology. This is when they build more powerful weaponry so that they can beat down any opposition to their invasion when they do find a good hospitable planet. This weaponry was used to stop both King DeDeDe's and Meta Knight's opposition at the start of the game. With their super-advanced technology they mass produced devices that could mechanize the environment on the new planet so that their upgraded bodies would feel more at home with the machine-riddled lands.

Another piece of evidence to support this theory is the portal-creating abilities seen in the final boss fight. Max Profitt Haltmann, piloting a mechanized Star Dream, uses the technology to create heart-shaped portals through which attacks come out of. What other final boss had portal-creating abilities? Magolor! Magolor created star-shaped portals to attack from. The Lor Starcutter could create portals as well.

Well, that's my theory anyway. I hope you enjoyed it, and if you have any thoughts on it, let me know in the comments.
