Two Face is an mask-shaped enemy in Kirby's Dream Land. It hangs on the walls in Castle Lololo and looks harmless until Kirby gets close. Then, it turns around to reveal its real and angry face, and starts to chase Kirby. When it turns around, it also reveals a tied bow on its back.
In the Extra mode, it is replaced with Mr. P. Umpkin.
Its name comes from the fact that it apparently has two faces, one on its frontside, and one on its backside.
Physical Appearance
Two Face is a brown, octagonal shaped mask with an angry expression on his face. When disguised as part of the background, Two Face has a bored expression.
Trivia
- Two Face has a striking resemblance in both appearance and behavior to another Nintendo series enemy, the Phanto, which appeared in Doki Doki Panic and Super Mario Bros. 2, where it would chase the player relentlessly as long as they held the key that the evil masks were guarding. However, Two Face would chase the player at any time, not if Kirby has a key. There are no keys in the Kirby series (Excluding Kirby Wii).
- But, when Kirby & the gang get a key in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, there are red enemies that will chase him until he uses it or drops it.
- Phantos cameo in the Kirby series as a hidden treasure in The Great Cave Offensive sub-game of Kirby Super Star where it is known as the Zebra Mask and with its proper name in the remake Kirby Super Star Ultra.
- Two Face shares the exact same name to a villain in the Batman franchise.
