KPR Susie artwork This article is about the items in the Super Smash Bros. series. For the collectibles in the Kirby series, see Trophy.

Trophies are unlockable figures the player can find in the Super Smash Bros. series, debuting in Super Smash Bros. Melee. They are unlocked through purchase, completion of certain event missions, or completion of the Classic, Adventure, or All-Star modes. In the world of Super Smash Bros., the trophies exist for only one reason: to fight. When fighters are returned to trophy state, they cannot fight; this state is similar to death. While this was only implied in Super Smash Bros. Melee, it has a bigger role in Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s The Subspace Emissary mode. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, trophies were replaced with spirits.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, placing the other collectible items, the stickers on the bottom of a trophy base of a certain character, the player can improve their stats in The Subspace Emissary mode. These effects are permanent. However, if the player gets a Game Over, they lose half of the stickers they used for good.

Below are lists of every Kirby-related trophy in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Super Smash Bros. Melee[]

# Name Image First Game / Move Description
16 Kirby
Trophy16
Kirby's Dream Land
08/92
A denizen of the far-off, peaceful planet Pop Star, Kirby became a citizen of Dream Land after defeating King Dedede. Even though he's only about eight inches tall, Kirby is an extremely skilled technician. He has the ability to absorb the powers of his enemies, and his elastic body makes him a versatile adventurer.
17 Kirby Smash
Trophy17
B: Swallow
Smash B: Hammer
Kirby's small size lets him dodge many attacks, but his light weight makes him fly far when struck. Using his ability to inflate, he can jump five times. His Swallow attack creates wild combos; not only can he copy foes' moves, but he'll also put on special hats and mimic their voices. His Hammer is unwieldy but powerful.
18 Kirby Smash
Trophy18
Up & B: Final Cutter
Down & B: Stone
Because of his light weight, Kirby is always in danger of being sent flying, but his ability to puff up and fly allows him to come back from amazing distances. His Final Cutter strikes on the way up and on the way down, and it sends out a beam of force upon landing. Kirby transforms into various objects and crashes down when he uses his Stone technique.
85 Food
Trophy85
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
These food items will restore your health when you eat them. There are 28 different types of food, and the nutritional value and yumminess quotient differs slightly with each type. Party Balls tend to hold the largest amount of food items. You may be vulnerable when gorging yourself, but you do need to eat to survive.
86 Maxim Tomato
Trophy86
Kirby's Dream Land
08/92
Maxim Tomatoes cure 50 percentage points of your accumulated damage. Once you eat one, after a brief moment, your damage meter slowly drains the appropriate amount, regardless of whether or not you pick up another item right afterwards. In the Kirby series, these juicy, health-restoring items were a favorite of the pink hero.
88 Warp Star
WarpStarTrophy
Kirby's Dream Land
08/92
The Warp Star originated as Kirby's ride: it helped the ponderous puffball get around at high speed. Hop on the Warp Star in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and your character will rapidly launch up and off the screen. You'll return in a flash, causing an explosion as you hit the ground. Try holding a direction to alter your landing.
93 Star Rod
Trophy93
Kirby's Adventure
05/93
This magic wand holds 16 star shots and sends foes flying at a low angle when thrown. It's most powerful when Captain Falcon or Sheik performs a Smash Attack while holding it. In Kirby's Adventure, the Star Rod is the secret power behind the Fountain of Dreams. King Dedede steals the Star Rod in order to seal away the nasty Cloaked Nightmare.
108 Parasol
ParasolTrophy
Kirby's Dream Land
08/92
The Parasol, which was originally used by Kirby, can be used as a weapon to bludgeon enemies. Even better is that fact that players can open it while airborne and lazily float back toward safe ground. It's incredibly useful in returning to the field of play after an opponent gets the better of you and sends you flying.
157 Kirby Hat 1
SSBMKirbyForms1
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
Here's Kirby sporting several results of his Copy ability. In Link's hat he can shoot arrows, while Mario's cap gives him access to Fireballs. The Donkey Kong suit offers up a Giant Punch, while Samus's helmet allows Kirby to fire off charged-up energy shots. Finally, while wearing the Yoshi hat, Kirby can swallow enemies and turn them into eggs.
158 Kirby Hat 2
SSBMKirbyForms2
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
Kirby's got several of his finest hats on here. In Ness's baseball cap, he can use the power of PSI to unleash PK Flash, while Captain Falcon's visor gives him the ability to unleash a huge punch. His adorable Pikachu cap comes complete with stored-up electric charges, allowing him to shock his foes, and the Fox ears come with a matching blaster.
159 Kirby Hat 3
SSBMKirbyForms3
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
With all of these hats, Kirby could open his own haberdashery! Peach's crown lets him use Toad, while the Ice Climber parka allows him to shoot ice blocks. Kirby has Fire Breath in the Bowser horns, and he can copy Zelda in both her forms. In Zelda's headdress he can use Nayru's Love, while Sheik's wrap gives him a needle arsenal.
160 Kirby Hat 4
SSBMKirbyForms4
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
Looks like Kirby's copied a bunch of hidden characters! In Luigi's hat, he can shoot green Fireballs, while copying Mewtwo gives him the power to throw Shadow Balls. Copying Mr. Game & Watch lets Kirby hurl sausages, and doing the same to Jigglypuff earns him a Rollout move. Marth's hair comes complete with a powerful Shield Breaker move.
161 Kirby Hat 5
SSBMKirbyForms5
Super Smash Bros. Melee
12/01
Secret hats galore! In Pichu's hat Kirby can shoot out electricity, while Dr. Mario's headgear gives him Megavitamins. When Kirby wears Falco's beak, he gets to use Falco's powerful Blaster; by the same token, he can fire arrows when in Young Link's cap. When Kirby copies Ganondorf he gets the Warlock Punch, and copying Roy produces a Flare Blade.
184 Whispy Woods
Trophy184
Kirby's Dream Land
08/92
A boss enemy from Kirby's Dream Land. Whispy Woods is a big tree that shoots whirlwinds at Kirby. It isn't the toughest enemy: all Kirby has to do is avoid the occasional whirlwind, suck in apples that fall down, and then shoot them back at the tree. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Whispy Woods is quite the blowhard.
185 Fountain of Dreams
Trophy185
Kirby's Adventure
05/93
This mystical fountain in Dream Land uses the power of the Star Rod to create a gush of pleasant dreams that flow like water. The dreams then become a fine mist and drift over the land, bringing peaceful rest to one and all. It's been confirmed that there are identical facilities on other planets near Pop Star.
233 Fire Kirby
Trophy233
Kirby's Adventure
5/93
When Kirby swallows a fire-wielding enemy, he transforms into Fire Kirby. Not only does he breathe fire in this form, but he can also sprout flames on his entire body and damage enemies by crashing into them. Fire Kirby wears the bright red headdress of his enemy Burning Leo. The hat turns into a helpful weapon when thrown.
234 Fighter Kirby
Trophy234
Kirby Super Star
9/96
Kirby dons a warrior's headband and becomes a fierce fighter when he swallows an enemy skilled at physical attacks. Fighter Kirby uses many colorful punching and kicking moves as he overpowers his enemies with his sparring skills. The Vulcan Jab is just one of the many techniques Kirby can use thanks to his copying power.
235 Ball Kirby
Trophy235
Kirby's Adventure
5/93
When Kirby swallows a ball enemy, he turns into a ball and can bounce off of floors and walls. It's tough to control, but well worth it for the strong attack power it gives Kirby. After his debut in Kirby's Adventure, Ball Kirby has popped up in several more Kirby games, such as Kirby's Pinball Land and Kirby's Block Ball.
236 Waddle Dee
Trophy236
Kirby's Dream Land
8/92
Many delicate creatures like this one inhabit Dream Land. They generally live carefree lives and have never considered themselves to be followers of King Dedede. Waddle Dees are innocent and generally harmless to man and beast. While they have virtually no offensive or defensive power, they'll sometimes try to wield a parasol.
237 King Dedede
Trophy237
Kirby's Dream Land
8/92
Dedede's the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land. While he says he's king, Dedede performs no administrative functions and the citizens of Dream Land continue to live as they always have. He's able to suck in air and fly like Kirby does, but only as a result of the vigorous training he undertook after being bested by Kirby.
238 Rick
Trophy238
Kirby's Dream Land 2
5/95
Rick made his debut alongside Kirby's other friends, Coo and Kine. He looks like a meek hamster, but when he puffs himself up, he's bigger than Kirby. When he's carrying Kirby on his back, he can mimic Kirby's copy powers with some special moves of his own. Rick's claim to fame is his exceptional traction on icy surfaces.
239 Gooey
Trophy239
Kirby's Dream Land 2
5/95
While Kirby swallows enemies in order to copy their powers, Gooey wraps them up in his tongue to steal their abilities. In Kirby's Dream Land 2, he occasionally appeared inside of a bag, but by Kirby's Dream Land 3, he was a full-fledged partner. He could be controlled by setting him up as Player Two.
240 Meta-Knight
Metatrophy
Kirby Super Star
9/96
The mysterious head of the Meta-Knights, he wields his sword with dignity. He delivered his sword to Kirby and demanded single combat in a show of knightly honor; his strict adherence to his code of ethics makes him a rarity in Dream Land. Sometimes he throws off his cape in battle. It occasionally transforms into wings.

# Name Image Appearance(s) Description
258 Kirby
Kirby
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A round, pink ball of cuteness from a distant, peaceful star. He can swallow anything with his gigantic mouth, then spit it out as ammo. He has the handy ability to copy powers and use them as his own. His hovering ability lets him fly through the air with ease. He's so round, he's sometimes treated like a ball.
259 Cook Kirby
Cook kirby
Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl Kirby in chef's garb. When Kirby throws on his chef's hat, a giant pot appears in the center of the screen. All characters, items, and even long-distance weapons are sucked into the pot. Once they've simmered a bit, food items equal to the number of things in the pot appear. Characters in the mix get blasted straight up out of the pot.
260 Meta Knight
Meta knight
NES Kirby's Adventure
SNES Kirby Super Star
The head of the Meta-Knights, and something of a rival to Kirby. He's quite an accomplished swordsman. Following his code of knightly ethics, he once delivered his sword to Kirby and demanded single combat. His giant cape transforms into wings, giving him the power of flight. He's shown his face briefly before, but his relationship to Kirby is still a mystery.
261 Galaxia Darkness
Galaxia darkness
Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl Meta Knight's Final Smash. He flips his cape, and the darkness within envelops his foes and plunges the world into shadow. He then unleashes a series of sword strikes that do terrible damage and launch his foes. In the darkness, Meta Knight can also reach and attack distant enemies. One can imagine Meta Knight zipping back and forth at high speed to accomplish this.
262 King Dedede
King dedede
GB Kirby's Dream Land
N64 Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
The self-styled king of the amazingly peaceful Dream Land. He continually does things unbecoming a king, like stealing the kingdom's food supplies or all the stars from the sky. He's not all bad, though, and sometimes performs good deeds. While he and Kirby often battle, they've been known to compete good-naturedly at speed-eating contests and minigames.
263 Waddle Dee Army
Waddle dee army
Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl King Dedede's Final Smash. He whistles, and an army of Gordos, Waddle Dees, and Waddle Doos rain down and rampage, pummeling all in their way. After a bit, they'll pack it in and hit the road. Any left can be forcibly removed. They are fast and numerous, which makes it difficult to get through their ranks without taking any damage.
6 Food
Food - Brawl Trophy
GCN Super Smash Bros. Melee
Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Treats that decrease your damage. The nutritional value of each food, and how much damage it heals, is carefully measured. What's better for you, sushi or a donut? Party Balls contain a lot of food, so if you eat it all yourself, you can really lower your damage. There may be times when you laugh and walk away from food, and times when you watch someone else eating and cry.
264 Maxim Tomato
Maxim Tomato Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A juicy tomato that heals 50 percentage points of the damage you've accumulated. When one of these appears in combat, rest assured there will be a race to see who can reach it first. It's a race of desperation between players who want to heal their damage and those who want to stop them from doing so. In the Kirby series, Maxim Tomatoes healed all damage.
265 Dragoon
Dragoon Trophy
GCN Kirby Air Ride An attack-capable Air Ride machine you can assemble by combining parts A, B, and C. You can knock off parts held by foes in combat, so stealing parts is something that's sure to occur. In Kirby Air Ride, you control legendary machines, but the Dragoon not only towers above all others in terms of speed, it is also able to fly.
266 Warpstar
Warp Star Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
GB Kirby's Dream Land 2
A warp-speed item. In the Kirby series, Warp Stars are used to move between stages. In Smash Bros., they're ultrafast attack items that zoom up and down to devastate anyone they hit. You can shift your landing spot by moving the Control Stick left or right during your descent. Choose your target and hang on! Don't overshoot the mark and plummet off the stage, though.
267 Superspicy Curry
Trophy Superspicy curry
GB Kirby's Dream Land The spiciest curry around. Eat it, and you'll be able to attack by spitting out fireballs. The eater of the curry will soon be unable to handle the heat, however, and end up frantically dashing about the screen. This is a pretty funny sight that never gets old, especially when it's Samus or Snake. Eat this mouth-scorching dish if you dare.
268 Star Rod
Star Rod Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
SNES Kirby Super Star
A magic wand. Perform a standard attack with it, and it's a battering weapon. Perform a strong or smash attack, and it fires a barrage of star shots. Throw it at a foe, and that opponent will get sent flying sideways. In the Kirby series, the Star Rod is the power source of the Fountain of Dreams. King Dedede once stole it to imprison the Nightmare Wizard.
269 Knuckle Joe
Knuckle Joe Trophy (SSBB)
SNES Kirby Super Star A martial artist known for amazing attacks like the Vulcan Jab. With his bandana, he looks and fights the part of a Muay Thai boxer. When Kirby copies Knuckle Joe, he gains the fighting techniques of a hand-to-hand-combat expert. Knuckle Joe also engages in friendly block-breaking competitions with Kirby. His other famous techniques are the Smash Punch and Rising Break.
270 Beam Kirby
TrBeam kirby
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
Kirby in a jester cap...and a super-cute Kirby at that. Beam Kirby features a Beam ability, acquired by inhaling Waddle Doo, that allows him to shoot a whip-like beam at his enemies. With a wide attack range, this ability is extremely easy to use, especially for taking out enemies in bunches. In Kirby Super Star, this beam can also be charged and fired.
271 Needle Kirby
Needle Kirby - Brawl Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Canvas Curse
A Kirby ability made when Kirby inhales a spiked enemy. When attacking, the needles on Needle Kirby's body extend, giving him a porcupine-like look. This ability provides both offensive and defensive measures against nearby enemies. Plus, needles which extend on Kirby's underside when jumping eliminate any threats on landing.
272 Sword Kirby
Sword Kirby Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A Kirby ability made when Kirby inhales a sword-wielding foe or a sword itself. Doing so provides Kirby with a rapid sword slash, a jumping sword spin, or even the energy-beam blast of the Final Sword. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that this is the #1 Copy Ability in terms of accessibility.
273 Sleep Kirby
Sleep Kirby Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
Kirby after he copies the ability to sleep peacefully. Kirby takes on this form when he inhales Noddy or other such enemies. Kirby cannot move at all while sleeping, so extra care should be taken not to use this ability when enemies are near. Kirby, in his slumber, tends to drool, and in his panicked awakening, isn't it cute how he forgets to wipe off the drool?
274 Wing Kirby
TrWing kirby
SNES Kirby Super Star
GCN Kirby Air Ride
Kirby when he inhales a winged enemy and copies its flying ability. This ability can be used to proceed through strong winds that would otherwise be too tough to overcome. Wing Kirby can also perform a plethora of attack moves, such as the Bomber Head, where Kirby dive-bombs onto enemy heads.
275 Fighter Kirby
Fighter kirby
SNES Kirby Super Star
GBA Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Kirby when he is skilled in martial arts, especially close-quarters combat. Inhaling brawny challengers like Knuckle Joe will transform Kirby, allowing him to use a bunch of fight moves like Rising Break, the heroic uppercut. His Mega Power Shot in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, which used charged energy to take out faraway enemies, is another Fighter Kirby highlight.
276 Fire Kirby
Fire kirby
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Canvas Curse
Kirby when he inhales an enemy who uses fire. Shooting fire from his mouth, Fire Kirby can cook enemies from afar. This ability also allows Kirby to light explosive blocks, fuses, and so on. In Kirby Super Star and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Fire Kirby can roll his burning body into enemies as an attack move.
277 Ice Kirby
Ice kirby
NES Kirby's Adventure
SNES Kirby Super Star
Kirby when he copies an enemy with chilly abilities. Ice Kirby can blow an icy wind from his mouth and freeze enemies solid. These frozen enemies can then be knocked into other enemies as an additional means of attack. These blocks are not only effective against enemies but can also be used on terrain such as magma or water.
278 Plasma Kirby
Plasma kirby
SNES Kirby Super Star
GCN Kirby Air Ride
Kirby when he inhales Plasma Wisps, which glow with a neon green flame. Plasma Kirby can charge the plasma strength up to a maximum level of 5. In Kirby Super Star, your attack--be it a Plasma Laser or a Plasma Wave Cannon--varies with the length of time you charge it.
279 Tornado Kirby
TrTornado kirby
NES Kirby's Adventure
GCN Kirby Air Ride
Kirby when he inhales enemies that fly around like twisters through the sky. When in tornado form, Kirby can spin freely through the air for short amounts of time, clearing out groups of enemies. Tornado Kirby will continue spinning and bouncing violently off of obstacles until he comes to a stop. One drawback of Tornado Kirby is the control difficulty.
280 Waddle Dee
Waddle Dee Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A carefree creature that wanders the hills and dales of Dream Land. Basically harmless to creatures great and small, Waddle Dees sometimes use parasols to float down through the skies. If Kirby swallows a parasol, he'll get one he can use to float or ward off enemy attacks. On the other hand, Kirby can't copy anything by swallowing Waddle Dees themselves.
281 Waddle Doo
Waddle Doo Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A creature identified by a single, unblinking eye. Like Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos roam about Dream Land and sometimes use parasols. Unlike their counterparts, though, they hate being approached--they'll fire a beam of energy at anyone who nears them, so don't think they're harmless like Waddle Dees. If Kirby swallows one, he copies the Beam ability and gains a jester's hat.
282 Gordo
Gordo Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A creature that sits in one place and doesn't even try to move. They won't even budge if Kirby tries to inhale them--they're the definitive obstacle. In addition, they're covered in spikes, so they damage whoever touches them. They're found stopped in groups, blocking narrow passageways, etc. Nothing's harder to get by than an encampment of Gordos.
283 Dyna Blade
100px-TrDyna blade
SNES Kirby Super Star
GCN Kirby Air Ride
A monstrous bird with white- and rainbow-colored bladed wings and huge talons. Challengers who face Dyna Blade are forced to contend with her speed and armor plating that can reflect any attack. The only weak point is her head. In Kirby Super Star, she's destroying Dream Land's crops, but there's apparently a perfectly good reason for this.
284 Blade Knight
Blade Knight Trophy
SNES Kirby Super Star A sword wielder covered head to toe in armor. Kirby can copy his Sword ability by inhaling him. Blade Knight has a variety of sword techniques, including chops and 100-slash combo attacks. As a helper, you can take him with you, and he will assist by taking out enemies with sword attacks. He's about as strong as Sword Knight.
285 Bonkers
Bonkers Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A large enemy who wields a giant hammer as a weapon. Bonkers battles you with several moves--his hammer attack and coconut throw could be considered his specialties. Kirby can inhale Bonkers to learn Hammer and Smash techniques. Not many know this, but Bonkers can also break down walls and pound down stakes.
286 Bronto Burt
Bronto Burt Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
NDS Kirby: Squeak Squad
A bird that looks a lot like Kirby. Bronto Burt has clear wings that he uses to busily flutter around the skies of Dream Land. He will pull off sudden dive bombs on occasion, and although he has no ill will toward Kirby, Bronto Burt will sometimes collide with the pink hero if he gets in the way. You should be especially careful of these collisions.
287 Cappy
Cappy Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A creature that looks like a walking mushroom at first glance. Inhaling him will strip off only his cap, revealing his true identity. Cappy tends to run around wildly, flailing his arms...and then gently eases back into a relaxed strut as if nothing ever happened.
288 Golem
Golem Trophy
GBA Kirby & The Amazing Mirror One of many statues found in Mirror Country, far up in the skies of Dream Land. Typically inert, Golems will only move to attack if Kirby draws near. Other Golems protect treasure chests, and some get shot from the mouth of the King Golem. Kirby can inhale Golems from a distance to copy the Stone ability.
289 Kracko
Kracko Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A well-known boss from the Kirby series. Kracko is a cloud with a big eye and numerous spikes. He threatens Kirby with a number of weapons, including beam and rain attacks. In Kirby Super Star, Kracko first appears as Kracko Jr., continuing his onslaught on Kirby as he grows in size.
290 Scarfies
Scarfy Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
GBA Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Creatures with cute, catlike faces that float through the sky in a playful, gentle manner. Get close enough, however, and Scarfies take to the offensive in a new, scary form. They can't be inhaled and eventually explode on their own. This is one enemy that you should probably attack as little as possible. That's right--let sleeping Scarfies lie.
291 Sir Kibble
Sir Kibble Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
GBA Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
An armor-clad foe. Sir Kibble grips the blade on his head between his hands before launching it at Kirby. By inhaling Sir Kibble, Kirby can copy his Cutter ability to throw boomerang-like blades. At close range, Sir Kibble can use his cutter like a sword for a direct attack.
292 Walky
Walky Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A microphone who trudges along and enjoys himself as he sings. By inhaling Walky, Kirby gains the ability to shout, allowing him to clear all enemies off the screen with a high-volume blast. This is a powerful ability that can only be used up to three times. In Kirby Air Ride, this ability sends every racer within range into a spin.
293 Wheelie
Wheelie Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
A real speed demon. Once Wheelie gets going, he can't be stopped. Wheelies are sometimes known to run in packs too. Kirby can copy the Wheel ability, turn into a tire, and run over enemies. The momentum will keep him rolling until he runs into an obstacle such as a wall.
294 Hydra
Hydratrophy
GCN Kirby Air Ride One of only two legendary Air Ride machines. Known also as the King of Destruction, the Hydra was born to battle. Collecting its three parts on City Trial will reveal its fiendish side. With high offensive and defensive levels, the Hydra can easily blast through rivals and obstacles, leaving a swath of ruin. This is the ultimate Air Ride machine for attacking the course.
295 Bomber
Bomber Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
SNES Kirby Super Star
One dangerous dude-as evidenced by the skull drawn on his body. Bomber walks around on two legs, but whenever he falls from stairs or other high places, he hits his head and explodes, covering a significant blast radius. Kirby can suck him up to learn the Crash ability, the ultimate weapon for wiping out every last enemy on the screen. Use it once and it's gone!
296 Bugzzy
Bugzzy Trophy
NES Kirby's Adventure
SNES Kirby Super Star
One of Kirby's foes. Those unlucky enough to get too close will get body-slammed with Bugzzy's vicious pincers. He also releases smaller bugs. Kirby can copy the ability to body-slam by inhaling him. In Kirby Super Star, this ability is called Suplex. It's just one of many pro-wrestling moves he can use.
297 Combo Cannon
Combo Cannon Trophy
SNES Kirby Super Star The main gun of the battleship Halberd. As the name references, it has two guns-the top one shoots out slow-moving shells, and the bottom one fires a powerful laser. There's a mechanical arm at the base that is used to grab enemies and hold them to be blasted by the laser cannon. It has a wide attack range and once shot down Dyna Blade after she aided Kirby.
298 Halberd
Halberd Trophy
SNES Kirby Super Star Meta Knight's battleship, built to help Meta Knight take control of Dream Land. It's crewed by Meta Knight and the Meta-Knights and is equipped with the Combo Cannon and a shrimp-like robot called the Heavy Lobster. In the Subspace Emissary, the Halberd appears and releases a massive horde or shadow bugs. These creatures form Primids and cause our heroes a lot of trouble.
299 Apples
SSBB Apples Trophy
GB Kirby's Dream Land
SNES Kirby Super Star
Fruit that falls from above when you're battling Whispy Woods. Kirby can suck them up and spit them out as useful projectile weapons. They're nice to have around when you don't have any Copy Abilities, but they do damage when they hit you, so they can be a bother too. They offer no ability when swallowed. These apples are not produced by Whispy Woods.

The hammer strikes twice in the air, but landing the single blow on the ground is more powerful. Kirby's up special Final Cutter slices up and down, firing a shock wave upon landing. Charge up Kirby's Hammer side special to unleash Hammer Flip, a move with serious launch power. Charge it too much, though, and you'll get hurt! 260 King Dedede
SSB3DS King Dedede Trophy
He calls himself the King of Dream Land, but he doesn't have a lot of interest in ruling. He really loves to eat, so it's no surprise he's a heavyweight fighter. Despite his size and low speed, he can easily recover with his four jumps. His Jet Hammer will leave a mark on everyone he meets. Being a self-proclaimed king, Dedede clearly doesn't care too much about the whole "politics" things. He's just a bit greedy. In this game, his weight and hefty hammer make him slow, but he can still jump four times in mid-air anyway, making it easy for him to get back to the stage. Fully charge his Jet Hammer for ultimate destruction.
261 King Dedede (Alt.)
SSB3DS King Dedede (Alt) Trophy

Two big eyelashes for one big eye? You're describing this beam-firing enemy from the Kirby series. This enemy may hop toward a fighter it spots and unleash an energy attack. The attack itself has a short range, but it can happen repeatedly and can stun. Unlike Waddle Dees, these guys will fight! These one-eyes, two-haired guys from the Kirby series are hungry for battle. If only they were more like Waddle Dees...
273 Parasol Waddle Dee
SSB3DS Parasol Waddle Dee Trophy

If you think a bit of mystery is the spice of life, you'll be disappointed here. If it looks like a bomb and explodes like a bomb...it's a bomb! A cute bomb, though, I admit. If he falls or bumps into something, he'll explode. With the right timing, you can throw him at enemies and do loads of damage! If you think mystery is the spice of life, you'll be disappointed here. Pop quiz! What do cars have four of, bikes have two of, and this enemy would blend right in with? That's right! Tires! Your prize is...more info! Wheelie likes to charge ahead, and Kirby can ride on top when he's a helper. If Kirby inhales him, he can even turn into a tire! The most memorable characteristic of Wheelies is their tendency to speed right into Kirby. If Kirby inhales one, he can turn into a tyre too! Sometimes, though, they find it in their hearts to help Kirby out by adding handlebars and a seat to their frames to become Wheelie Bikes that Kirby can ride! Nice!
279 Bugzzy
SSB3DS Bugzzy Trophy
This enemy is a huge wrestling fan—he'll do his best to try out some wrestling moves on his enemies. If Kirby manages to avoid his attacks and swallow him, Kirby can bust out some wrestling moves too. Bugzzy can also release ladybugs to attack, but I think that's against wrestling rules... This enemy is really into wrestling. In fact, he's just dying to give Kirby a hands-on demonstration of his suplex skills. Sometimes he releases ladybirds in battle, but...surely that sort of thing's against the rules in wrestling. If Kirby manages to inhale this hostile beastie, he'll be able to pull off some nifty wrestling moves, too!
280 Plasma Kirby
SSB3DS Plasma Kirby Trophy
What does the aurora borealis have in common with lightning? Plasma! And what does Plasma Kirby have in common with them? Hrm. Maybe that was too easy... Anyway, Plasma Kirby can build up plasma using the +Control Pad and fire it with the B button. You can look up more about plasma if you want, but firing plasma is what's important here. In the Kirby series, Plasma Kirby is Kirby, but with the ability to fire plasma, and mashing the +Control Pad charges him up! "But what exactly is plasma?" you ask. Well, that's a very good question. Maybe you should look it up yourself. Can't be giving you all the answers, you know.
281 Combo Cannon
SSB3DS Combo Cannon Trophy

Try to inhale him, and Scarfy will instantly turn into a terrifying one-eyed monster, ruthlessly chase you down and explode! That green cap sure does make Kirby look heroic, doesn't it? Maybe wearing it just inspires Kirby, but while he's wearing it, he gets all kinds of neat moves, like Spin Slash, Multisword Attack, and Sword Dive. He's even able to pull off these moves in the air, on the ground, or underwater! Kirby looks like a pretty courageous hero in that green cap, doesn't he? Indeed, this Kirby is a master of sword-swishing, fending off enemies with the powerful Spin Slash, the rapid Multisword Attack and the stylish Sword Dive. If that wasn't impressive enough, he can also use these moves on land, in mid-air AND underwater. Beautiful!

You'll then be able to shoot beams from a wand, and the attack can even be charged up for greater effectiveness. You can also use a beam to push switches or to grab and toss your foes. Ever felt jealous of a Waddle Doo's ability to fire beams from its eye? Well, if you're Kirby, there's really no need - swallow one and you, too, can swing energy beams to your heart's content! Charge them up to plough through multiple enemies at once, use them to grab and throw enemies, and even press switches through walls! Yeah!

When Kirby first copied the Fire ability, he was only able to breathe fire. Nowadays, he can do all sorts of neat things! For example, he can engulf himself in flames and roll forward, burning grass, lighting fuses, melting ice, and so on. What we'd really like him to do, though, is help us make the perfect s'more. Mmmmm. Once upon a time, all Fire Kirby could do was shoot flames from his mouth, but he's come a long way since then. Now he can roll along the ground as a blazing fireball, burn up grass, light fuses, melt ice and so on. That's great and all, but what we really want to know is...can he help us get a barbecue going?

When Kirby has the Ice ability, he can blast enemies with glacial gales to freeze them. He can then kick them into other enemies to take them all out at once! Kirby normally looks as tasty as a big ol' marshmallow, but he's significantly less appetizing when he's copied the Needle ability. Those pokey spikes won't add any flavor at all. With this ability, Kirby can bash into enemies or launch the spikes at them. A great, easy-to-use ability! Kirby's soft, fluffy and just...so huggable! Except when he's got the Needle ability, that is - then it's like there's a hug-free zone all around him. Being covered in spikes comes in handy, though, for rolling into enemies, and even shooting at them! However, whether that really makes up for his loss of huggableness is hard to say...

The Lor Starcutter is a ship that sails across the universe. The ship's parts, scattered all across Dream Land following its crash landing, were all collected with the help of Kirby and the gang. Some of the parts, like the emblem, mast, oars, and wings, serve as more than just ship parts. You'll find out why later. A spacefaring vessel that travels among the stars. Though its parts got scattered all across Dream Land, they were safely reassembled thanks to Kirby and friends. It's actually more powerful than it looks - the emblem fires star-shaped projectiles, the mast can create tornadoes, and even its oars and wings can be fired as weapons.

Trivia[]

  • In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, there are more trophies of Kirby than any other character (not including cameos on Final Smash and other similar trophies).
  • The line mentioned in the Fighter Kirby trophy's Super Smash Bros. for Wii U description—"Show me your moves!"—is a reference to Captain Falcon.
  • The files for the reflection on the Fire Kirby trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee reveal it to be a baby face.
  • The Ninja Kirby trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U gives the official name of Moonja, who originally went unnamed before the games release.

Mistakes/Inconsistencies[]

  • The first two Kirby Hat trophies say that they first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee, even though they really first appeared in Super Smash Bros. However, this could be because Ness and Link's movesets were altered slightly between Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee; Ness uses PK Flash in Super Smash Bros. Melee instead of PK Fire, whilst Link uses his Bow and Arrow in Super Smash Bros. Melee as opposed to his boomerang.
    • Another Trophy mistake is that Kirby Hat 4 first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This is mostly true, due to the Marth Kirby, Mewtwo Kirby, and Mr. Game & Watch Kirby parts of the trophy, but Luigi Kirby and Jigglypuff Kirby first appeared in Super Smash Bros.
      • The reasoning given above may be the same for this. Jigglypuff used Pound as its Standard Special in the original, yet uses Rollout in future appearances.
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee’s Meta Knight trophy says that his debut was in Kirby Super Star when, in fact, he first appeared in Kirby's Adventure three years prior. This was corrected in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
    • The mistake could be justified, however, as he wasn't mentioned by name until said game; however, his name was in fact mentioned a year before Kirby Super Star was released, in Kirby's Avalanche.
    • The name Meta Knight also does not require a hyphen (-). The term Meta-Knight refers to his army. This error is present in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
  • In Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s Fire Kirby trophy description, Fire Kirby is credited for appearing in Kirby: Canvas Curse, but it didn't; the Burning ability appeared there instead.
  • In Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s Star Rod trophy description, it states that the Star Rod's last appearance was in Kirby Super Star. Though the Star Rod did appear in said game, its latest appearance was actually in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
  • In Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s Bonkers trophy description, it states Kirby can get the Smash Bros. ability by inhaling him. This is incorrect, as Kirby can only obtain the Hammer ability with Bonkers.
  • Gordo's trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl mentions that it sits in one place, when in reality, it usually moves or bounces from wall to wall. This is somewhat true, however, as Gordos will sometimes be immobile, usually in a closed space.
  • Walky's trophy description mistakes Kirby's Dream Land as being for the NES; this was corrected in the PAL version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
  • All of the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U trophies that mention Kirby Super Star Ultra state the release year as 2009, when the game actually released a year earlier.
