Timed Dynamite is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.
Physical Appearance[]
Timed Dynamite is a pair of red dynamite sticks tied together with a clock on its front. The clock face is white with a green hand and yellow star in the center. Two wires, one blue and one red, stretch from the dynamites' ends to yellow cylinders attached to the time piece.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Kirby Fighters Deluxe, and Kirby Fighters 2[]
Timed Dynamite serves mostly as a puzzle element in Kirby: Triple Deluxe’s Story Mode. Timed Dynamite is used as a pick-up item. Once Kirby picks up a Timed Dynamite, the clock shown on it will slowly begin to tick down. Once the clock makes one cycle, the dynamite will explode, annihilating enemies or blocks that happen to be nearby. This item will seriously hurt Kirby if the pink puff gets caught in the blast.
Timed Dynamite also appears as an item in the Kirby Fighters sub-game as well as in its successors, Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Kirby Fighters 2. When the item detonates, it creates several massive explosions lasting a few seconds each. Kirbys caught in the explosions will take a great deal of damage and be unable to escape until the bomb is finished.
When hit, Action Stars will occasionally drop three Timed Dynamites onto the stage.
Trivia[]
- Timed Dynamite is similar to the Balloon Bomb item in Kirby's Return to Dream Land; both are explosives that Kirby can carry and throw to destroy Durable Blocks and enemies, and both automatically detonate after a set time period.
- In Story Mode, a Timed Dynamite's timer counts down faster if Kirby lets go of it. This is not the case in Kirby Fighters or its successors.
