— Description • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Official Strategy Guide (Prima) |
Ticks are spike-like enemies that appear in Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, and Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Tick appears to be a cute, harmless creature at first. However, if Kirby gets above one, its expression becomes mischievous, and it extends the spike on its head to try to damage Kirby, acting in a somewhat similar way to Scarfys when Kirby is facing away from them. They give the Needle ability when inhaled.
Some Ticks in Kirby: Triple Deluxe will hop towards Kirby in their cute forms.
Physical Appearance
In Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, and Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Tick has white skin; a black mouth; and a red needle. In Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and Kirby: Canvas Curse, Tick's skin is peach colored. It has shiny black eyes with white highlights in Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and Kirby: Canvas Curse. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby: Triple Deluxe, it has eyes similar to Kirby's.
