The Tropical Terror is the eleventh stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It is the fifth stage of Everbay Coast and the second boss stage of the game. It succeeds Fast-Flowing Waterworks and precedes Welcome to Wondaria. It requires 19 Waddle Dees to unlock.

General Information[]

When Kirby starts the level, he will land on a beach. He must head south around a cliff, passing by a Maxim Tomato and the Needle, Cutter, and Fire Copy Essences. When he gets to the cliff's southern edge, there will be a ladder that he can climb. Once Kirby makes his way to the top, three Clockers will appear holding the golden cage where three Waddle Dee prisoners are kept. The three Clockers make their getaway, while Tropic Woods wiggles his trunk and forms his face. Once the face forms, he roars while the Boss Subtitles show up and attacks Kirby.

Main article: Tropic Woods

Tropic Woods starts by dropping some fruits down and blowing air puffs at Kirby. Once his health bar is halfway depleted, he roars, launching Kirby back south, and summons a fence that he uses as a temporary shield. He is also able to make his roots snake through the sand, forming another obstacle to deal with, but Kirby can destroy them. He can also blow air puffs across the entire arena, requiring Kirby to jump over them.

Once Tropic Woods is defeated, he collapses, weakened, and sheds a tear. The three Clockers return, carrying the cage, allowing Kirby to collect it and save the three Waddle Dee prisoners.
