The Forest of Whispy Woods is the fourth stage in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It is the fourth stage of Green Valley and the first boss stage of the game. It succeeds Great Cave Escape and precedes Dig and Dash.

General Information

Kirby rolls through a small woodland filled with cherries and spike balls before reaching the boss. Whispy Woods attacks by spawning spike balls, dropping mines from his branches, and blowing gusts of wind to push the pink puff back. Kirby can attack him with Tap Dashes and Star Dashes; the former becomes ineffective when Whispy summons armored Bronto Knights to protect his face. The player can deal heavy damage by rapidly tapping Kirby when he has Star Dashed into the boss.

Trivia

  • During Kirby and the Rainbow Curse’s announcement trailer at E3 2014, The Forest of Whispy Woods was shown to have a cannon, which allowed Kirby to launch himself into Whispy's face. This cannon is not present in the final game.
