The Empyrean is a mountainous area in the Dream Kingdom that serves as the fifth level of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. It introduces Tougher category bosses to the game.
General Information
The Empyrean is a a rocky location set at a high altitude—some clouds float at ground level here. Massive, unnatural spires topped with stars are erected in the background. Sharp rock formations and crystals are also present. The sun shines down from the sky through a thick cloud layer. During stormy weather, the clouds darken, the sky turns purple, and lightning cracks.
Bosses
The Empyrean contains six bosses for Team Kirby to battle:
- Tough: Telepathos (costs 13 vigor to fight)
- Tough: Landia (costs 22 Gem Apples to unlock; costs 14 vigor to fight)
- Tough: Taranza (costs 35 Gem Apples to unlock; Ordeal boss; costs 15 vigor to fight)
- Tougher: Gigant Edge (available after defeating Taranza; costs 16 vigor to fight)
- Tougher: Bonkers (costs 35 Gem Apples to unlock; available after defeating Taranza; costs 16 vigor to fight)
- Tougher: Kracko (costs 40 Gem Apples to unlock; available after defeating Taranza; costs 17 vigor to fight)

- The Empyrean is named after a location in ancient cosmology. Empyrean is synonymous with heaven or paradise, being a part of the celestial spheres. It is also associated with fire, aether, and God.
- The Empyrean is the only area that consists of bosses that appear in the Decisive Battlefield, Tough: Landia to Tougher: Landia EX/Parallel Landia and Tough: Taranza to Tougher: Dark Taranza.
