HAL recently revealed the name of the new 3D star: 3D Warpstar. Notice that it's 'Warpstar,' not 'Warp Star.' I suppose that means the original is changed too. Like with Planet Popstar (as opposed to Pop Star), this is a consistency flaw. I think the most logical course of action is to change all instances of Warp Star to Warpstar, then do it with Planet Popstar vs. Pop Star. Still, I'd like to hear what other people feel we should do. NerdyBoutKirby X-Naut You rang, dude? 19:26, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

I agree with you on the Warpstar thing. Adjusting the wiki to reflect what's in the most recent game seems the best thing to do, even if in another game it's different. Personally, I think "Warpstar" looks better too. Like with "Planet Popstar", we can call the actual article "Warpstar", but in the article, put something like "also known as 'Warp Star' or 'WarpStar'". Maybe somewhere in the game, when it comes out of course, it'll actually say "Warpstar" alone, without the "3D", that'll clear this up. Kirpow (talk) 20:22, April 23, 2014 (UTC)
Now that I think about it, we should wait before doing anything hasty. SSB3DS is scheduled for release this summer, so that could fill us in. If we make this huge change only to discover that the next two SSBs say 'Warp Star,' we'll feel like fools. After all, this consistency change will really make things hairy for articles like Flight Warp Star. NerdyBoutKirby X-Naut You rang, dude? 03:30, April 25, 2014 (UTC)
You may still want to wait until SSB3DS releases, but 0:10 of this video says "Warpstar". KirPOW! POW What hit me? 18:50, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I was going to say that Planet Popstar seems it would be a "full name" of sorts, kind of like the names of the other planets in Kirby Super Star Ultra (which I think should also be expanded to their full titles from the remake if that's the preference over the original version, but that's probably an unrelated subject). If worse comes to worse and the new Smash Bros. games don't help out, perhaps the article titles can reflect their current names, but when referring to the games / anime in each section it uses the original spelling of that game? That way, under the Air Ride part, "Warp Star" and "Flight Warp Star" can coexist. Just a thought. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:55, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
