Just a question[]
Why are we considering Waddle Doos to be variants of Waddle Dees? I understand that Epic Yarn's cast description for Waddle Doo states that 'This big-eyed Waddle Doo may be a fake,' but what other evidence do we have? Is there any official source that states this explicitly? Paul2 Walky, at your service! 20:58, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
- The only other things we have is maybe the anime and the Waddle Dee in 64 when possessed by Dark Matter. But other than that and similar appearance, that's it. IqskirbyI'm wearing green. No pinching. 22:09, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
- So, the question we have to answer is, is this enough evidence to prove it's a variant? I'm thinking it's a species in its own right, but we'll need more opinions and maybe more evidence before we make any official changes to the page. Paul2 Walky, at your service! 22:30, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
- Well, it does bear a strong resemblance already (them being mostly orange better helps this as many enemies has similar stature), they can also carry parasols, and in Avalanche, Waddle Dee is his "cousin." IqskirbyI'm wearing green. No pinching. 22:42, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
- I got it. They're related- but I agree with Gioku. One can't know which one's the variant, especially when you consider that they both debuted in Dream Land. Because of this, with no total concrete evidence which is a 'variant', we should remove all mentions of Waddle Doo being a variant from the page. Maybe we should wait for some input from NBK, though.
