N-Z is from the Dark Star and should probably have its own article since it is not a Waddle Dee. Plus, they can attack by jumping on Kirby if you give them the chance.

  1. Neutral - It's really just another Waddle Dee holding another something. That is, unless we are covering move sets for all the helpers, then splitting into Waddle Dee (helper) makes more sense. Otherwise there's no difference between the helper and the regular enemy besides palette swaps.Changtau2005

K64 waddle dee

I think the waddle dee in Kirby 64 should have his own page. (after all, bandana & sailor waddle dees have their own page) - January 5, 2012 - anonymous

I support because most of the Waddle Dee Characters (Bandana Dee, Sailor Dee, Arena Dee, Parasol Dee) have their own page so why this one shouldn't? 07:53, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

This is over two years old but I feel I have to comment on this, on how easily all of these can be countered..

1. The whole no speaking part - NONE of the characters speak in the entire game.

2.Waddle Dee I noticed is actually a different shade of hue from the other Waddles Dees's like (Bandanna Dee and Sailor Dee).

3.For the personality part, neither Adeleine nor Ribbon or all the other bosess (and to an extent Kirby himself) have that much personality in them, yet they have articles so its not actually a valid reason (in fact Arena Dee has even less of a personality and yet he has his own article). User talk:Spikeman2.0

  1. This Waddle Dee has no speaking part, no real features, and little to no personality. Why should he have his own article? NerdyBoutKirby ChillyKCC.pngSmooth as Italian ice -- Ooh! Cold! 14:53, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

  • Spikeman's comments are valid, true. However, creating an article for this generic Waddle Dee would be senseless as it wouldn't do anything that Waddle Dee doesn't do already. In fact, it would serve as more of a nuisance than a help, as we would have to change many links across several articles accompany the change. We don't even have a name for this Waddle Dee, so what's the point? NerdyBoutKirby This sprite sold me a Virtual Boy and Virtual Boy Wario Land.BZZZZZ! 04:35, July 5, 2014 (UTC)
    • To get this out of the way, I'm sorry for creating a page without permission at this point all the other wiki's let you edit and create page freely, so I thought I didn't need it. Now first of all when you say this Waddle Dee doesn't have a name since when did that stop other's from creating seperate articles for the other Dees, they had nicknames (which sometimes ended up as being their official names). All the other's Dees names were pretty much named from either what they were wearing (Sailor Dee wore a sailor's cap) or what they were doing (like Arena Dee was a boss in the KSS arena hence the name), so why should that stop us from creating title fitting for him (likesay Engineer Dee or Rider Waddle Dee or so on). As for re-directing the links, I don't think that would be much of a problem (I In fact I would be happy to change the links to the correct article do it). As for doing anything that a Waddle Dee doesn't do already. First of all this Waddle has been showing operating vehicles pretty well and not much Waddle Dee's can do that (with the exception of driving a minecart), and he has been shown operating platforms pretty well, in additiong to being able to break the ceiling with his head (let you find one Waddle Dee being able to do that).Spikeman2.0 (talk) 11:59, July 5, 2014 (UTC)User talk:Spikeman2.0
      • So? We have everything we need right there. When it boils down to it, he's just a friendly Waddle Dee who helps Kirby out in one game. Not only do we already have the information on this page, but we would we need to move the info to a separate article entirely? It feels like turning a simple solution (leaving it as-is) into a much bigger deal than it needs to be. Reference to the Big Bad Wolf

For the life of me I can't remember what stage it was, but Kirby essentially goes around inhaling those three Waddle Dee's houses. The first one is straw, the next one is wood, and the last one is metallic. I feel like this is all some sort of big allusion to the story of the Big Bad Wolf (with the original order being straw, wood, and brick). Something noteworthy of adding, or just a coincidence? I would've just gone ahead and added it, but I couldn't remember the name of that story. The Three Little Pigs? Lollipop Tank

Should we consider this a large enemy? Should we consider it a vehicle like King Dedede's Tank? Or should we only reference it in the KTD section of this page without making an article, like we did for Balloon Bobbleship? I'm not sure it really warrants its own page...

What do you guys think? NerdyBoutKirby It happens to be Donkey Kong Country's 20th anniversary. Hey! I found it first, buddy! 04:07, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

If the tank that shoots spike balls in Royal Road is considered a large enemy, this should too, seeing as how they're general counterparts of each other. IqskirbyMeta Knight point trans.pngI REFUSE! 05:20, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
In that case, Iqskirby, I find it best that we add information about Lolipop Tank to that page, as they are almost exactly the same. Paul2 Created by NerdyBoutKirby AHHHH! 12:56, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
Neither tank has an article. One could make the argument that counting Lollipop Tank as an enemy of its own accord would be the same as counting Ace Fuwa Rover's suits of armor -- both are merely vessels controlled by other foes. I think I'm leaning toward no article for this one, but we'll have to include a screenshot in Waddle Dee's gallery. NerdyBoutKirby It happens to be Donkey Kong Country's 20th anniversary. Hey! I found it first, buddy! 19:59, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
In Japanese, the tank of Lollipop Land Stage1 is ロリポップタンク(Lollipop Tank). The tank of Royal Road is セクトル五連砲(Sectol Quintuple Tank?). We classify these tanks into gimmicks. Please use it as a reference. - Kirbyellow (talk) 10:42, December 19, 2014 (UTC)
If there is no page for any such tank, simply mention it in the KTD or Waddle Dee article. Paul2 Created by NerdyBoutKirby AHHHH! 12:47, December 19, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, we should probably just add it to the Waddle Dee page. Waddle Dee Steel Fortress is only relevant enough because it's effectively a mini-boss against Hypernova Kirby. IqskirbyMeta Knight point trans.pngI REFUSE! 21:03, December 19, 2014 (UTC)

Sectra Dees

The latest KTD Miiverse post states that the Royal Road foot soldiers are called Sectra Dees. Unfortunately for us, though, the post isn't specific. Are the Lanzers, Bronto Burts, Gordos, and Spynums also classified as Sectra Dees? They are all insects with many of the same characteristics (excluding Gordo). However, "Dee" indicates that only the Waddle Dees go by this name. What do you guys think about this issue?

NerdyBoutKirby Master Flesh, eh? Tastes like chicken. We help each other out, you see. 03:53, June 10, 2015 (UTC)

It is a bit of a conundrum I must say. I think there was a Japanese post very similar to this one, but that's aside from the main point. We could wait until another post comes that may include the other variants, or we just make the changes now. As for the changes I have in mind, all of them just have "Secrta" in front of their names except for maybe Bronto Burt, which will instead be Sectra Burt or something like that; unfortunately, while Waddle Dee's name changed the first word to designate its difference, Bronto Burt's name changes the second word e.g. Key Dee and Bronto Knight, but whatever, not going to be too much of a problem I hope. IqskirbyIqskirby.pngHi there. 11:20, June 10, 2015 (UTC)
I agree with Iqs about naming all of these Royal Road variants 'Sectra' variants (At least until further info arrives). In my opinion, Sectra can refer to an enemy from Royal Road, while 'Dees' simply refers to Waddle Dees, just as 'Burts' refers to Bronto Burts. In the case of Bronto Burt, I see no reason not to call him simply Sectra Bronto Burt- he is, after all, a minor variant. Hope this added to the conversation! Kirby's Super Star Stacker

I haven't played Super Star Stacker (which I don't suppose should be a surprise), but should this appearance belong to Parasol Waddle Dee instead of Waddle Dee? From what I've seen on The Spriter's Resource, he does have a parasol as a weapon, as seen in his sprites for charging/attacking, as well as some of the cutscenes. Granted, Waddle Dee in Kirby Battle Royale also wields a parasol, although it's not the traditional red and white kind. IqskirbyActually called "Beam Machine Gun" in KSS; after that discovery, I felt the need to say it in an Arnold Schwarzenegger voiceBihm Masheen Gahn! 05:59, April 7, 2018 (UTC)

Considering this particular Waddle Dee isn't wielding the parasol for all of his sprites, I'd suggest keeping it the way it currently is. Then again, I don't see why we couldn't credit both Parasol Waddle Dee and Waddle Dee for appearing in Star Stacker; it's not like they're two totally different characters after all. Just a Waddle Dee with an umbrella. Meta Kirby52 Return of the Riderz Revenge. This won't be pretty. 12:23, April 7, 2018 (UTC)

Those are Jammerjabs, right? Assuming they are, whether they are Waddle Dees hasn't been confirmed either way, to my knowledge, so the only thing we can do is speculate based on physical appearance. They do have some resemblance to Halcandran Waddle Dees, but until we get official information, we can't know, but it should be assumed that they are different.
