Can someone please upload a better image of the Master Crown? Would really appreciate it.

What's the (Dark) Matter?[]

Abou the Dark Matter is inside Master Crown thing, I think that we should include this in all related articles as it states that Magolor (as Magolor Soul) is just a manefestation of the crown itself, this means the Crown transforms Magolor into a form more resembling itself (which looks just like Dark Matter), I mean compare them.

Magolor Soul

Zero eye, Dark aura, single ball in center.

The Magolor EX form also looks quite like Dark Matter's swordsman form. I should also mention that on several nintendo related wikis, they include info about Magolor on the Dark Matter pages. Also there is stuff all over the internet about how people believe that Magolor is Dark Matter and why.DrNefarious 12:40, January 27, 2012 (UTC)

All I'm wondering is that if the master crown really DID posses Magolor, than why didn't it possess Landia. After all, it's clear that Landia had been wearing it.--I'm epic...is that a problem? (talk) 23:55, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

By that logic, one could also say that Nruff and Nelly are the same creature, or Flapper and Babut, even Necrodeus and Nightmare. The Master Crown itself is an object that's been on Halcandra for thousands of years; all the Dark Matter in the universe that we know of exploded in Kirby 64. The sub-games in Kirby Mass Attack are non-canon, and if the crown were Dark Matter-infused, Nintendo would have come right out and said it. These games are aimed at children, so their plots and stories are easy to understand and explain. The Kirby series doesn't hide much information from the players, other than Kirby's species and things about Meta Knight.

Magolor Soul looks similar to Dark Matter, yes. But this is no reason to assume something that cannot (and most likely will not ever) be proven. And to wrap this up, I will give one more reason against the theory: Dark Matter has only ever been seen possessing living creatures or darkening the land; we have no record of Dark Matter inhabiting a piece of armor, jewelry, or anything else man-made. This may sound nonsensical and crazy, but given the argument above and the fact that the crown wiggles on Magolor's head, the crown itself might be an all-powerful extraterrestrial! But you don't see me writing THAT on the page, do you?

I want to end this once and for all. Surely HAL knows the answer, and they've replied to my mail before. I think I'll email them and find out the truth about Dark Matter, the Master Crown, and Magolor!

  • Okay NerdyBout Kirby, but perhaps the reason that the Crown wiggles is because Dark Matter is inside it, also it is possible that a piece of Dark Matter was sealed inside the Crown befor the Dark Cloud was destroyed, if you do get answers from HAL, will you put it on the wiki. Also how do you know that the sub-games of Mass Attack are Non-canon.DrNefarious 06:07, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
Just to make this clear: anything not directly stated in the game or game guide or unambiguously implied is non-canon. Wiki is for facts, not theories or deductions. Changtau2005

Not to mention that in Kirby Brawlball, two Marxs are at the same place.

The reason why the Sub-games are not mentioned in the guide is because they have very simplistic controls.--unsigned comment by DrNefarious (talkblogcontributionslogs) Always sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~ !
That doesn't justify your answer tbh. :\--Starman125SirkibblehelperKSS Mm7helmetersprite.pngEh, nice armor. Uh, sure, thanks. 05:39, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

I just got this email from Nintendo. It does not confirm anything, really.

"Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm afraid there isn't an answer to your question about Dark Matter and Magolor Soul. Fans are often curious about the background stories and details behind their favorite games and characters. Some answers might be revealed in future games; however, many details about our games remain mysteries, left to the active imaginations of our players.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc. Alain Dao"

So, what should we write, it does not state that it is, but it also does not state that it isnt.--DrNefarious 07:59, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'm going to say just what I think. Magolor's Dark Matter-esque eye is probably just a simple homage to the villain than an actual appearance by him. This game was full of references to past games and such, so it's not so farfetched to think that making the mouth of both of Magolor's forms resemble Dark Matter and Zero was no more than a couple of Easter Eggs. As for the Master Crown containing a piece of either's power and wiggling, I think the crown itself was an living being all on its own and had nothing to do with either. A lot of bosses in Kirby have a single eye motif. The case of Magolor having one in the final battle is no more than just a coincidence. That is what I think. --Superstarultra 08:55, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

Marx Soul's necklace[]
