Kirby Wiki

Name[]

I don't know if she's unnamed in Nintendo Power or the Prima's guide, but it's true that she isn't named in the original instruction booklet and I think the old official website... On the other hand, the BradyGames guide simply refers to her as "the queen" (Page 103) - think this article ought to be shortened to simply "Queen" to be closer to an official source? Prima guide calls her "the queen" and "the queen of Ripple Star," but I dunno about Nintendo Power. I think "Queen Fairy" or "Fairy Queen" work well enough to describe what kind of queen she is, since she has no official name. After all, we have at least one queen on this site already. Fairy queen is a common name for refering to queens who rule over fairies. PyroGothNerd (talk) 23:08, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Right, Sectonia... Maybe, since she's only ever referred to by her title and not as a proper name, the article should have a conjecture tag regardless? Or would Fairy Queen perhaps be considered descriptive enough and not necessary? LinkTheLefty (talk) 23:32, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

I personally think it's good enough as it is now. NerdyBoutKirby I mean, sir? You rang, Sir Grodus, dude? Grodus? Sir Grodus, sir? You rang, dude? 01:27, June 17, 2014 (UTC)
I always wondered from where did the name most fans use "Queen Ripple" came from. SmashLawler (talk) 04:47, August 12, 2016 (UTC)

I'm not certain about this, so I figured I'd start a discussion before editing anything. Is Queen Ripple her official name or one the fandom has given to her? I see the Fairy Queen called that quite frequently. If it's just a fandom name, then I'll add it to trivia.

That is simply a fan name, although technically so is Fairy Queen. We don't seem to have an official name for her; any official sources that do refer to her simply call her the queen. Iqskirby (talk) 12:56, August 18, 2019 (UTC)
