Stone Bomb (also called Dynamite[1][2]) is a Power Combo in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Games[]

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[]

Stone Bomb is a Power Combo made by combining the Stone and Bomb Copy Abilities. Kirby throws a bundle of dynamite sticks that create a large, powerful explosion, sending rocky debris everywhere. Kirby can kick the dynamite around by walking into it, but it will ricochet off walls and such, making it difficult for Kirby to aim precisely at enemies. The explosion can damage Kirby, so he will need to be a safe distance away from it (a certain distance off-screen in most cases) or can duck to wear a hardhat to prevent being damaged by the explosion. The explosion is so large, it can occasionally hit enemies in the background; this can easily be seen on Stage Four of Neo Star in the Chacha room.

Stone Bomb B Kirby throws a bundle of dynamite by pressing B. The dynamite explodes upon contact with an enemy or after a little over 6 seconds (when the spark reaches the split in the fuse). Like the single bomb power, Kirby tosses dynamite. Be very careful though. The explosions are very large and can damage Kirby unless he's far away. Press ↓ to make Kirby put on the helmet and avoid the explosion.

Trivia[]

  • Kirby's hardhat features a green cross on its front. This is typical of Japanese hardhats, where the symbol indicates safety in a construction zone. This type of hardhat is also used by Mets of the Mega Man franchise.
