Spray Paint is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.
Games[]
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror[]
14 Spray Paints can be collected; they are found in Treasure Chests throughout the Mirror World, with some being thematically coherent with the locations they appear in. By going to the Collection Room, a player can select a Spray Paint to change Kirby's color, and can remove the color by selecting "Default" (the image of Kirby's face in the top left corner); Spray Paint usage is limited to standard gameplay modes, being Start Game and Boss Endurance. In multiplayer, the process of picking a color with Spray Paint is the same, regardless of whether or not the chosen player's Game Pak has the Spray Paint collected; as such, Spray Paint is the only Collection Item that is functionally independent of the chosen player's Game Pak. By default, Player 1 is Pink, Player 2 is Yellow, Player 3 is Red, and Player 4 is Green.
Spray Paints feature a primary color and secondary color. The primary color applies to Kirby's body, including Stone and Wheel transformations, and his vitality. The secondary color applies to Kirby's feet, including UFO's saucer, and blushes (except in the Kirby info sprites in the top-left corner). Aspects of the primary color also appear in Kirby's foot shine and foot shadow due to how the palette is applied, which also occurs on UFO's saucer.
Spray Paint also affects Kirby's Cell Phone, but in a different and more unusual way. The Cell Phone present in the top-left corner has a main body and antenna (with a white tip) colored a darker shade of the primary color, featuring four buttons that more closely match the primary color's brightness, and has a single button that is based on the secondary color; the Phone's screen is always a light blue unless using Chalk, where it is instead a flat white. The Cell Phone that appears when Kirby is actively on the Phone instead has a main body based on the secondary color, with the four buttons still being based on the primary color and its antenna being a darker shade of the primary color; the Phone's screen is mostly black, featuring a darker shade of the primary color along its edge.

In addition to the 14 colors obtainable in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, five more colors are available. Furthermore, Grape's color has been slightly changed and Chalk now also changes the color of Kirby's Copy Ability outfit and effects, making him completely monochromatic. The Shadow Spray Paint is a reference to Shadow Kirby.
