|“||Below me you see Spinni, the most stylish member of my gang. And he ferrets out treasure like a pro. But he's taking a break from the biz right now. That's why I'm relying on you.”|
|— Daroach • Kirby Mass Attack|
Spinni is a member of the Squeaks. He has appeared so far in Kirby: Squeak Squad, Kirby Mass Attack and Kirby Star Allies. According to the Kirby: Squeak Squad instruction manual, Spinni is the "speed of the group". Spinni features in the sub-game Smash Ride, where Kirby plays against Spinni and three rare Red Squeakers. He also appears in a graphic, which Kirby can assemble by collecting Graphic Pieces from Treasure Chests.
Spinni is a yellow mouse-like creature, with orange feet, a long snout and slight frame with red nose, white belly & mouth mark & large ears of He wears a long red cape and large, shiny red shades, and is often accompanied by several yellow Squeakers.
Spinni's personality is not much known, but according to Daroach, He describes him as "the most stylish member of the gang".
Spinni first appears in Kirby Squeak Squad. When Kirby picks up a treasure chest, Spinni may appear, and attacks by throwing shurikens at Kirby, which can be inhaled for the Ninja ability. However, this attack is very easy to dodge as the shuriken usually just flies right over Kirby's head. His second attack is to slash at Kirby with a metal claw, which is far more dangerous, though it possesses a limited range. Sometimes he will drop the claw, which can then be inhaled for Animal. Spinni will hold perfectly still before he attacks, giving the player time to dodge the attack before it commences. Spinni can infinity jump and is the only member of the Squeak Squad that is known to have the ability to swim, as displayed by one stage in the level Secret Sea. Like all Squeaks, he is very weak when it comes to fiery, icy, and electrical attacks.
Spinni appears in Kirby: Triple Deluxe as a keychain.
Spinni appears in Kirby: Planet Robobot as a sticker.
Daroach can summon Spinni to walk forward and swipe enemies with his Animal claw.
"Spinni" comes from the word "spin."
- In the novel Kirby Meets the Squeak Squad! Spinni is described as loving his red cape.
- Spinni's first- and second-person pronouns in Japanese are 「オレ」 (ore) and 「おまえ」 (omae) respectively. These are informal and typically used by males; they may depict masculinity and higher status compared to others, and can sometimes be seen as rude in certain contexts.
