A souvenir item is an item in the Kirby series debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It functions similarly to a stock item.

A souvenir item is a gifted item won only through stamping a Treasure Chest on a Stamp Rally in Merry Magoland. These items are stored in an inventory where Kirby can access it either by briefly holding down , talking to the Souvenir Shop Waddle Dee, or by going to Souvenir Shop menu on the Pause Screen. When the player selects an item to use, the player must briefly hold down to summon it. When summoned, a present will briefly appear above the summoner's head which then opens to reveal the selected souvenir item. The summoner will also drop any item they are currently carrying to pose.
Accessing souvenir items via the Pause Screen
Selected souvenir items can be swapped but only when the inventory menu is open. If the player decides to swap a souvenir item for another if the inventory is closed, he/she must access the inventory via the Souvenir Shop Waddle Dee or the Pause Screen lest he/she will summon the item instead.
When the player starts a new file, only the Energy Drink, Random Copy Essence, and Crackler are available to collect. These items have a 1/3 chance of being won in a Stamp Rally. After the player can completed 50 missions in Merry Magoland, the Maxim Tomato and Balloon Bomb are unlocked for future Stamp Rally rewards. The original three souvenir items now have a 1/4 chance of being rewarded while the two unlockable items have a 1/8 chance. Only 30 souvenir items can be stored at a time.
The souvenir items can also be brought into battles in The Arena and The True Arena. However, by doing so the final score will be marked as "Assisted" with a red present box.
