This Waddle Dee works at the Souvenir Shop in Merry Magoland, though he will also travel throughout the different levels to provide the shop's services. Talking to him allows the player to access the Dress-Up Masks and Souvenir items. He can hold Energy Drinks, Random Copy Essences, and Cracklers by default; the player needs to complete 50 missions for the other two Souvenir Items to be available, which are Maxim Tomatoes and Balloon Bombs.

In Merry Magoland, Souvenir Shop Waddle Dee reuses the Waddle Dee model from Kirby and the Forgotten Land, however, in level maps, he reuses the Waddle Dee model from Kirby Star Allies instead. The Star Allies models are also reused for enemy Waddle Dees whereas the Forgotten Land models are reused for Waddle Dees in Merry Magoland.
