Soot Bug is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Land 3. It yields no Copy Ability when inhaled.
Physical Appearance[]
Soot Bugs are small, fuzzy, dark blue creatures that scuttle around the floor, sometimes falling from the ceiling. They have no methods with which to hurt Kirby in any way, as soon as Kirby makes any kind of contact with them they get instantly defeated.

Kirby's Dream Land 3[]
Many Soot Bugs appear throughout the game, serving no apparent purpose other than making the areas feel more alive. If Kirby goes near them, they will quickly scuttle in the opposite direction. In Stage 2 of Sand Canyon, a massive amount of them can be found, in a sand tunnel section.
Kirby: Canvas Curse[]
Soot Bugs make a return in Canvas Curse, now sporting 2 yellow eyes. There are only 2 of these Soot Bugs in the entire game, both found in a small room in Collapse Castle, Kirby cannot directly interact with them, as they are behind arrow blocks that must be moved to let Kirby continue through the level. The player can crush the Soot Bugs with these blocks if they aren't careful.
