Soochers are enemies in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Soochers are arrowheads with yellow pieces of string attached to their backside.

Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[]
Soochers only appear when Yin-Yarn summons them after Kirby and Prince Fluff defeat the Fangora and Capamari recreations. These enemies go behind the drapes that the sorcerer drops and create platforms; their positions are noted by the bulges created behind the drapes. If Kirby or Prince Fluff are hit by a Soocher's arrowhead, they will lose beads. Soochers move in a set pattern and will continue appearing until Kirby or Prince Fluff use the door in the drape to escape. Soochers cannot be destroyed, but will disappear after they cross the edge of the screen; the platforms they create last for a limited time before disappearing.
Etymology[]
Soocher's name is a corruption of the word "suture", a needle attached to a piece of string used by surgeons.
