Snoozroot is an enemy that appears only in Kirby Mass Attack. They can be found mostly at Green Grounds and Sandy Canyon.
Appearance
Snoozroot is a plant enemy that has a bead-like body with a round head, yellow rose cheeks, and a red bow on her head. Their head comes in different colors: green, purple, and orange.
Behavior
Snoozroot's behavior will depend on its color. They are mostly found asleep, but when approched, they will wake up and prepare to attack. The green ones attack by spitting out purple liquids at Kirby. This Snoozroot appears only in the very first level. The purple ones will attack slightly differently. Instead, their heads will begin to grow large, turn red, and spit out three purple liquids accompanied by propellers. These Snoozroots appear in the jungle levels. The orange ones won't fire the purple liquids at Kirby but rather shoot dust, which will cover up the entire screen for a while, making it hard to see. It's best to take care of them before they shoot dust. When defeated, the dust will immediately clear out. This Snoozroot can be found in Sandy Canyon. Red ones appear in Volcano Valley, which shoot small balls of fire instead of purple liquids.
Etymology
Snoozroot's name comes from the words "snooze", which refers to its habit of sleeping, and "root", which refers to the fact that it's a plant.
