Skullers are floating skull from Kirby's Dream Land. According to the game, they have small eyeballs, which are slightly visible in its official artwork. They replace Mumbies in the Extra mode. Just like Mumbies they can't be inhaled, but they are much faster, meaning Kirby will have a hard time avoiding them. When the Skullers move around the screen, their eyes and mouths open and close.

KPR Susie artwork This article is about the enemy in Kirby's Dream Land. For other uses, see Skull (disambiguation).

Skuller is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Land. It cannot be inhaled.

Physical Appearance

Skuller, as its name suggests, is a floating white skull with tiny yellow pupils in its eye sockets. Its upper jaw has three teeth, whereas its lower jaw has no visible teeth.

Games

Kirby's Dream Land

Skuller serves as the Extra Game equivalent of Mumbies. Just like their weaker counterpart, the Mumbies, Skullers cannot be inhaled and move in a set pattern. Skuller is faster than its counterpart and inflicts two points of damage when it makes contact with Kirby, making it more of a threat. When Skuller moves around the screen, its eyes and mouth open and close.

Trivia

  • Curiously, there is a Skuller in the Castle Lololo section of Mt. Dedede that can be inhaled like a normal enemy. The reason for this distinction is unknown.
    • This is also true for Skuller's Normal Mode counterpart, Mumbies.
  • Skuller is likely a reference to the enemy Skull from The Adventures of Lolo.
