“ | My Shoppe is number one in the whole Dream Kingdom! Take your time and browse!” |
— Magolor • Team Kirby Clash Deluxe |
The Shoppe is a location in the Kirby series, debuting in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. It is a store in the Dream Kingdom village owned and run by Magolor.
Physical Appearance[]
The Shoppe is a cart with a green rooftop and a chimney. It has four yellow wheels adorned with star images. A sign depicting a star and two wings is attached to the front of the roof. Beside the cart are Bandana Waddle Dee's spear; two bombs; and a crate, upon which rest three Gem Apples.
If the player purchases all weapons and armor, Magolor changes the Shoppe's appearance and switches his costume to his traditional one. The roof changes color and shape, becoming blue with gold detailing. The chimney is plated with metal and the sign is redesigned altogether. The cart is maroon with a boxier shape, the counter has a blue cloth covering, and two lanterns hang from the two front posts. The cart's wheels are blue with gold gear-shaped axles. Bandana Waddle Dee's spear is no longer leaning against the outside of the Shoppe.
Games[]
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe[]
The Shoppe is stationed to the left of the Quest Board. It opens after Kirby clears the Colossal Waddle Dee quest. If Kirby stands in front of the cart and presses ↑, Magolor makes a quick statement before letting him shop. Here, the player can purchase Weapons, Armor, Support Items, and Gem Apples
Weapons and Armor can additionally be upgraded after Team Kirby clears the "Tough: Taranza" quest in the Empyrean.
Taranza appears sitting on top of the Shoppe, with a flower resembling the Dreamstalk, when Team Kirby clears the "Toughest: The True Final Battle" ordeal quest.
Weapons[]
Weapons primarily increase Kirby's attack power; certain weapons can increase other stats. If the player has StreetPass data for Kirby: Planet Robobot, an H Rarity weapon called the Susian Bolt Blade can also be obtained. Weapons are obtained or powered up using Fragments and Gem Apples.
Armor[]
Armor primarily increase Kirby's stamina; certain weapons can increase other stats. If the player has StreetPass data Kirby: Planet Robobot, an H Rarity armor called the Haltonian Helm can also be obtained. Armor is obtained or powered up using Fragments and Gem Apples.
Support Items[]
Support Items have various different uses. Potions that temporarily increase Kirby's stamina or attack can be obtained individually or in bulk for a 5% discount; five of each potion can be used at a time per quest. EXP Orbs that temporarily double EXP can be obtained individually or in bulk for a 4% discount. Champion's Codexes for the main three Fragments that permanently increase the number of specified Fragments can be obtained, as well as one that increases the rate that the player regains Vigor. Support Items are obtained using Gem Apples.
Gem Apples[]
Gem Apples have various different uses. They are the main currency for obtaining items from the Shoppe, and are also required to unlock certain quests. Gem Apples can also be used to completely refill Vigor, revive all teammates during a quest, add 30 seconds to a quest if the time expires, and allow the player to seek out Wandering Adventurers more than once per day. As Gem Apples serve as the main currency in the Shoppe, obtaining them from the Shoppe itself requires spending real-world currency by connecting to the Nintendo 3DS eShop via the internet; purchasing Gem Apples on Sunday also rewards the player with 5% Bonus Gem Apples. Purchasing certain amount of Gem Apples also upgrades the Gem Apple Tree, giving a larger number of Gem Apples with each harvest. The player can purchase a maximum of 3,000 Gem Apples; if save data for the game is deleted, purchased Gem Apples will be lost and cannot be recovered or refunded.
Due to the Nintendo 3DS eShop having closed down on March 27, 2023, Gem Apples are no longer for sale.
Super Kirby Clash[]
The Shoppe retains its purpose and location as from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, appearing in both the Port Village and Castle Village. Players can buy Stickers in addition to his previous wares.
Weapons and Armor can now be further upgraded to SDX after being upgraded to DX. There are now 15 rarities, with some rarities including two Weapons and Armor instead of one.
Taranza appears sitting on top of the Shoppe in Port Village when Team Kirby clears the "Tough: Taranza" ordeal quest. Parallel Susie appears sitting on top of the Shoppe in Castle Village when Team Kirby clears the "Super: Pres. Parallel Susie" quest.
Weapons[]
Armor[]
Support Items[]
Potions obtained in bulk now have a 10% discount. In addition to EXP Orbs are Mini EXP Orbs, which last for a shorter period of time and with a lesser increase in EXP gain, but with a lesser cost; both types of EXP Orbs obtained in bulk now have a 20% discount. Champion's Codexes now each have six volumes instead of four, and more Codexes have been introduced: one that increase chances of Rare Fragments appearing, one that increases and enhances the gifts obtained from Adventurers, one that increases rewards from Star Quests, and one corresponding to each role that increases a certain stat.

Trivia[]
- If Kirby enters the Shoppe six times in a row and talks to Magolor again afterward, Magolor suggests Kirby go back to his quests. He also mentions that he's not especially interested in the Dream Kingdom and just wants to sell Kirby his wares, which is especially true since Magolor was not originally from there. This hidden conversation is a nod to Kirby's Return to Dream Land, in which talking to Magolor seven times in a row prompts him to tell Kirby to go back to his adventure.
- When Kirby buys all 3,000 Gem Apples from the Shoppe in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, Magolor laughs to himself, saying that his "secret plan" is closer to completion. If Kirby upgrades all weapons and armor to DX (SDX in Super Kirby Clash) status, Magolor parodies his speech from the "Let Me Explain Everything" cutscene from Kirby's Return to Dream Land, saying that Dream Kingdom will bow to him. He then drops the act and explains that he is only joking.
- When the Shoppe changes appearance, the crates beside it have the letters H, A, and L engraved on their sides; this is a reference to HAL Laboratory.
- After completing the Super: Pres. Parallel Susie Party Quest in Super Kirby Clash, Parallel Susie appears in the Castle Village, seated atop the Shoppe's awning. This may be inspired by a piece of artwork celebrating the first anniversary of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, as it shows Parallel Susie sitting atop the awning's right side as well.
