Ringle[1] is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It yields the Bell ability when inhaled, and is the only enemy to do so.
Physical Appearance[]
Ringle is a black, spherical creature with red, stubby feet and blue eyes. It wears a large brass bell like a hat. This bell is adorned with a pair of white wings which the enemy uses to fly. Ringle's bell also sports a golden rim and a circular loop on its top.
Games[]
Kirby: Triple Deluxe[]
Ringle is often seen walking around, minding its own business. If Kirby comes anywhere near it, the enemy will jump into the air, hover a bit, and shake its body back and forth. This action produces a knell accompanied by numerous sound waves. These sound waves will hurt Kirby if he comes in contact with them. After attacking, Ringle will drop to the ground and continue walking, before jumping back into the air to ring again.
Some Ringles are found permanently hovering in mid-air, never touching the ground.
Etymology[]
Ringle's name is derived from the word "ring," the sound that a bell makes.
