Fire Kirby is Red

Red Kirby is just like Kirby but red instead of pink. He has appeared in many of the current Kirby games to date, and in most of them he appears as a simple pallet swap for the regular Kirby. In Kirby Air Ride, he was a default character which was selectable as a pallet swap. He also makes an appearance in both Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, where he was playable via multiplayer. In the Super Smash Bros. series, players also have the option to change Kirby's color to red. Also, in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad, after the Red Spray Paint has been found, the player can recolor Kirby to resemble Red Kirby.

In Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Dark Meta Knight attacked Kirby, splitting him into four separate beings, one of which was Red Kirby. In the Amazing Mirror's three-player mode, the third player controls Red Kirby by default. Also, Red Kirby appears in Kirby Super Star Ultra when the player plays multi-player sub-games. The 3rd player always controls Red Kirby in this game.

Trivia

  • If Red Kirby got the Fighter Ability, he would get a white bandanna instead of a red one like the one that the Green, Yellow, and Pink Kirbies wear, probably to make his bandanna visible on his red body.
  • Red Kirby is known for his intelligence, being much smarter then the other Kirbies, besides Kirby himself. This is shown in the intro of Kirby Air Ride, when he cleverly took a small shortcut, only to still be in 3rd place (which is ironically what the third player will automatically be).
