Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[]
Random Copy Essences are one of five items that can be carried as a souvenir item throughout Kirby's adventure. They can be obtained at Merry Magoland by gradually completing Stamp Rallies. Kirby can equip one by talking to Souvenir Shop Waddle Dee, holding the X button with an empty souvenir item hold, or via the Pause Screen. When the player summons one by holding the X button with one equipped, it will appear in a present above Kirby's head and will randomly pick a Copy Ability to start from before slowly cycling through all available Copy Abilities as it descends to the ground.
Random Copy Essences also appear in Story Mode in Dangerous Dinner Stage 3 during the Another Dimension section before the Sphere Doomer, before battling Magolor, and in-between battles during The Arena and The True Arena. These essences are found on pedestals unlike the souvenir item variants and are notably much faster during its cycles.

Trivia[]
- Within the code for Kirby: Squeak Squad existed a bubble-less Roulette bubble possibly suggesting the development of a roulette Copy Essence long before it was introduced in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
