Pult is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack.
Physical Appearance[]
Pult is a craggy stone creature. Its reddish hue resembles terra cotta. A mouth is carved into it with six rectangular teeth, and its eyes are black with white pupils. The creature sits atop a small metal base and has a mechanical arm. The bucket on the arm is a purple crescent.
Games[]
Kirby Mass Attack[]
Pult appears exclusively in Stage 2 of Volcano Valley. It is an immobile enemy that attacks the Kirbys' tank by hurling boulders at it. Pult has to charge up before tossing a rock, which gives the player some time to destroy it and prevent it from attacking. When it has thrown its rock, it creates another and waits a second or two for the first one to hit.
The boulders launch in a wide arc and move slowly through the air, so the player has time to destroy them by firing Kirbys. When Pult is hit with a flying Kirby, its body begins cracking. Three hits defeat the enemy.
Etymology[]
Pult's is derived from "catapult," describing the enemy's design.
