Kirby tosses a flaming Pitch as if he was a Cutter; in the same fashion, Pitch returns after the attack. Unlike the actual Cutter ability, however, Pitch can also pick up items and fly through walls.
Kirby holds a remote control and flies Pitch around. The player can control this attack with the +Control Pad. As a bonus, Pitch can pick up items in his 'RC' form. However, Kirby can be hurt as he is standing still controlling Pitch. Pitch can also fly through walls.
Nearly the same as Rick's Cutter attack, but Pitch is the cutter, and Pitch moves much faster. As with the Burning ability combo, Pitch can pick up items and fly through walls.
Kirby uses the parasol as a golf club and whacks Pitch into the air. As with the Clean ability combo, the player can use the +Control Pad to control how far Pitch will fly.
When the player mixes the Stone and Cutter abilities, Kirby gains the mix ability Stone Friends, which lets him turn into statues of any of his past animal friends, including Pitch. In this statue form, Kirby can temporarily fly in the style of Pitch. When landing, the statue will roll around.
Pitch appears as part of Cleaning's moveset, where he helps Kirby splash water in an arc. This attack is nearly identical to the move Pitch performs in Kirby's Dream Land 3 with the Clean ability, although it can now be charged up for a more powerful attack.
Pitch, along with ChuChu, are the only two Animal Friends who do not appear in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. While Nago himself does not appear, the character Chef Nagoya draws heavy inspiration from him.
