Phantom King Dedede is a boss in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It is an illusory copy of King Dedede formed by the dreams of Fecto Forgo.
Physical Appearance[]
Phantom King Dedede is identical in appearance to the regular King Dedede, but with a pink, blue, and white color scheme and strobing eyes.
General Information[]
Phantom King Dedede is a copy of King Dedede, created by Fecto Forgo to guard the many shards of Leongar's soul scattered around Forgo Dreams.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land[]
Phantom King Dedede is fought at the end of Forgo Horns, serving as a harder version of the King Dedede fight. He now spawns with six Primal Awoofys instead of two. His moveset is much more advanced, with his moves having become advanced and harder, with his trip attack now followed up with 2 additional follow ups, and his hammer swings being more faster and persistent. Additionally, he also gains a new move where he tosses three Gordos towards Kirby. In the second phase of the fight, after jumping onto the platform in the background, he will throw down three Gordo Bars, which roll across the arena. He then grabs a pillar and begins smacking the ground with it, causing the ground to crack and then burst open, which additionally turns the floor into ice for the remainder of the fight, making it harder for Kirby to avoid his attacks. Finally, he will also perform a large swinging combo with so much reckless strength that the pillar will shatter afterwards, momentarily leaving the phantom clone vulnerable to attacks.
