Kirby's moveset functions similarly to the 2D games, although adopted for a 3D space, like in Kirby 3D Rumble and Kirby's Blowout Blast. When Kirby spits out inhaled objects, they only show as stars if stars are what Kirby inhaled; otherwise, Kirby just spits back out what he initially inhaled. There are two Treasure Roads for Kirby in his normal state - one in Everbay Coast and one in Redgar Forbidden Lands.
