The Nintendo Switch 2 (also referred to as just the Switch 2) is a hybrid gaming console produced by Nintendo. It succeeded the original Nintendo Switch.
Released in most regions on June 5, 2025, the main gimmick of the Nintendo Switch 2, like the Nintendo Switch, is that it can switch between TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld mode. It's primary controllers are Joy-Con 2s, which can click into the console for handheld play or can be detached to play wirelessly. Joy-Con 2s can either be used sideways, together vertically, or on a flat surface to be able to use them similar to a computer mouse. All Kirby games allow you to use the Joy-Con 2's either sideways or together vertically, but no Kirby games currently allow for the use of mouse controls.

Currently, there is only one model, the original model. It features a 1080p LCD Display that is 7.9 Inches big.

Controls[]
The Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2s have the same controls compared to the original Switch Joy-Cons. There is a new button called the "C Button" on the right Joy-Con 2, which pops up the GameChat Menu.
