Mint Leaves, known as Sweet Potatoes in Japanese versions, are items that have only appeared in Kirby's Dream Land. If Kirby eats one, his aerial game becomes better, and he can spit air puffs faster. Originally, they were supposed to increase Kirby's "burping", as sweet potatoes can. But when they were localized as mint leaves, they gave Kirby "minty fresh breath", as it said in the Super GameBoy guide.
