|This article is about the item debuting in Kirby's Dream Land. For the Copy Ability, see Mike.|
|“||When Kirby finds a microphone, his shrill voice instantly eliminates any enemies within earshot.”|

As its name suggests, the Microphone resembles a condenser, or dynamic, microphone.
The Microphone appears exclusively in Castle Lololo and Float Islands. It is a powerful item that Kirby can utilize, and functions similarly to the Copy Ability it shares a similar name with. After inhaling it or walking into it, Kirby can spit it out. This causes him to screech into it, defeating every on-screen enemy.
The Microphone reappears in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble, functioning similarly to how to did in Kirby's Dream Land, except it is immediately used upon obtaining it.
The Microphone appears in the Kirby Fighters sub-game, as well as in the downloadable Kirby Fighters Deluxe. It causes every other Kirby participating in the match to take severe damage and go flying.
|“||I'm not a very good singer and I sometimes sing off key, but King Dedede's bullies can't stand to hear me sing and will just explode with laughter when I puff out the microphone.”|

- In Kirby's Dream Land, using a Microphone when an enemy is below the life display causes it to clip in front of the display before it is defeated.
- It can destroy Shotzos in Kirby's Dream Land, making it the only attack in the Kirby series that can do so.
- After clearing Kirby's Pinball Land once, Kirby can trigger the Microphone's screech by doing something specific in the top stage of each Pinball Land. These triggers are spinning the Twisters in Whispy Woods Land for a certain period of time, destroying all the stars in Kracko Land, and breaking all three Crack-Tweets out of their eggs in Poppy Brothers' Land. The sound is accompanied by the appearance of a character, be it Blade Knight, Meta Knight, or Axe Knight.
