Meta Point is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Super Star Ultra.

Physical Appearance

In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Meta Points look like floating, flashing blue circles that leave a short trail behind them as they move.

In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Meta Points look like light blue orbs with rings of white light that spin randomly around them. In this game, they can also be seen floating both on their own and in a cluster together.

Games

Kirby Super Star Ultra

Meta Points can only be encountered in the sub-game Meta Knightmare Ultra. They appear when Meta Knight defeats an enemy, mid-boss or boss. When released, Meta Points will automatically fly towards Meta Knight; they are then added to a gauge on the lower screen. A maximum of 50 Meta Points may be stored at one time. When collected, the points can be spent on a variety of different moves.

Kirby: Planet Robobot

Meta Points reappear in Kirby: Planet Robobot, and are exclusive to the sub-game Meta Knightmare Returns. In addition to being collected when enemies are defeated, Meta Points may now also appear in a standalone form. Standalone, Meta Points may appear in sizes of 1 point, a large Meta Point worth 5 regular points, and a cluster of 8 points. Bandana Waddle Dee throws a cluster of 8 points at Meta Knight when he passes by.

The moves that Meta Points may be spent on in Meta Knightmare Returns include:

Healer 10 Meta Points Completely replenishes Meta Knight's health.
