This page is for the group of characters. For their leader see Meta Knight.

The Meta-Knights are a group of enemy characters led by Meta Knight. They usually appear as mini-bosses but sometimes as regular enemies. Unlike most mini-bosses they can be inhaled without having to depleat their HP, however they don't give copy abilitites.

Meta-Knights

There are 4 different Meta-Knights each weilding a different weapon.

Ax Knight

The weakest of the Meta-Knights, resembling a skull wearing a viking helmet, he just walks back and forth occaisonly stopping to swing his ax. He will also throw his ax and have it come back to him sometimes jumping over it when it returns like Sir Kibble.

Javelin Knight

Appears the least of all the Meta-Knights Javelin Knight resembles a floating robot of some sort and attacks by firing his javelin at Kirby like a laser. He will also spin around with the tip of the javelin stuck to his helmet. The javelin does electrical damage to Kirby if it hits.

Mace Knight

Mace knight is the strongest of them all. Usually seen in one place swinging his mace, then throwing it. Occasionally he runs around, swinging his mace.

Trident Knight

The second strongest and trickiest to defeat, he stands in hard-to-reach places and chucks electrified tridents at Kirby.

Other Servents

Though technically not members of the Meta-Knights, Meta Knight does have some other minions.

Halberd Crew

  • Although Meta Knight is the owner the Halberd, there is also a bird-like figure who is said to be the Captain of it. The Captain only appears in the Kirby Super Star sub-game Revenge of Meta Knight, and evacuates the ship after Kirby destroys it and sends it falling into the sea.
  • A Waddle Dee who seems to be a sailor also appears in the sub-game. Even after all of Meta Knight's other crew evacuate the ship, the Waddle Dee stays by his side while Meta Knight duels Kirby, though its fate after Meta Knight is defeated is unknown.

Games

Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

In some levels Meta Knight will appear and call the Meta-Knights to attack Kirby. Kirby can't go on until he has defeated them all.

Kirby Super Star

In Meta Knight's Revenge they appear frequently and attack Kirby. When the Halberd is crashing, they stick around one last time to help meta Knight defeat Kirby before evacuating.

Later in the sub-game Milky Way Wishes, a small group of Meta-Knights are fought on one of the planets, though whether or not these are the same Meta-Knights who evacuated the Halberd is unknown.
