This page is for the group of characters. For their leader see Meta Knight.
The Meta-Knights are a group of enemy characters led by Meta Knight. They usually appear as mini-bosses but sometimes as regular enemies. Unlike most mini-bosses they can be inhaled without having to deplete their HP, however they don't give copy abilities.
Meta-Knights
There are 4 different Meta-Knights each wielding a different weapon.
Ax Knight
The Knights that wield axes.
Javelin Knight
The Knights that wield javelins.
Mace Knight
The Knights that wield maces.
Trident Knight
The Knights with an arsenal of tridents.
Other Servants
Though technically not members of the Meta-Knights, Meta Knight does have some other minions.
Halberd Crew
- Although Meta Knight is the owner of the Halberd, there is also a hawk, Captain Vul. Captain Vul appears in the Kirby Super Star sub-game Revenge of Meta Knight, and evacuates the ship after Kirby destroys it and sends it falling into the sea.
- A Waddle Dee who seems to be a sailor also appears in the sub-game. Even after all of Meta Knight's other crew evacuate the ship, the Waddle Dee stays by his side while Meta Knight duels Kirby, though his fate after Meta Knight is defeated is unknown.
In the Anime
Blade Knight and Sword Knight serve under Meta Knight in the anime, almost always by his side. They are believed to be either apprentices or body guards.
Games
Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
In some levels Meta Knight will appear and call the Meta-Knights to attack Kirby. Kirby can't go on until he has defeated them all.
Kirby Super Star
In Meta Knight's Revenge they appear frequently and attack Kirby, since they are of course Meta Knight's loyal fighters. When the Halberd is crashing, they stick around one last time to help meta Knight defeat Kirby before evacuating.
In Kirby Super Star, even in some of the sub-games where Meta Knight himself does not appear and effects the story, there are members of the Meta-Knights that do appear!
