Meat is a common food item found in many of the Kirby games. It has the appearance of a roasted chicken or turkey. Being the second best health power-up after Maxim Tomatoes; when obtained, it replenishes just over half of Kirby's Health. Maxim Tomatoes always restore Kirby to full health.

Meat can often be found lying on the ground. In Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, they are also found in Treasure Chests. In Kirby: Squeak Squad, they are also found in black chests and in the bonus game. Snooters like eating them, if they can get to it before Kirby does. If Kirby mixes a Cherry bubble, a Pep Brew bubble, or another meat bubble with a meat bubble, the result will be a Maxim Tomato bubble.
