Lost in Alivel Mall is the forty-second stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. It is the ninth stage of Natural Plains and is the Starry version of A Trip to Alivel Mall. It succeeds Meteor Shower's Arrival and precedes Fallen-Star Beach.
General Information[]
Upon entering the stage, Kirby can immediately notice that most of the mall is covered with crystals. The entrance Kirby previously used to enter the mall is also sealed off by a massive crystal. To proceed, he must destroy a Big Starryflower to create ramps leading to a higher floor. Here he can find a window sealed by a Breakable Crystal, which he can destroy to enter the mall. Inside, Kirby must traverse a high-up, broken floor containing several passageways. Initially, he can use Storage Mouth to reveal a map instructing Kirby to head left of the hot dog door. Before he can get there, a Galactal attacks him. Its defeat creates a path to the left leading to a Starry atop a ledge. After rescuing him, Kirby can find a secret room behind some boxes on the ledge that contains the missing part of the map. It instructs him to activate a Switch behind a counter to enter the ice cream path. Before doing so, he can climb a ladder found on the right side of the room to find a Small Starryflower, which creates a Gotcha Capsule when activated. He can then return to the main path, activate the switch, and enter the ice cream path.
The ice cream room contains many passive Awoofies, some of which are watching Cappies dance on a stage. If Kirby destroys a Big Starryflower below the stage, a Starry appears at the top of the stage. Kirby can easily rescue it before going down an escalator into the next area.
Here, Kirby must use Stairs Mouth to move down a path containing many conveyors. At one conveyor, Kirby is forced to briefly discard the stairs to reach a ledge containing a Big Starryflower. The Starryflower creates a path past the conveyor when destroyed. After moving past another conveyor, Kirby must climb to a higher area where he fights Crystal Wild Edge. His defeat opens up the conveyor path, allowing Kirby to stand atop the stairs and collect a few Star Coins as it moves. At the end of the conveyor, Kirby can discard the stairs on unmoving ground to reach another ledge. There is a Treasure Chest hanging from a vine below the ledge, but Kirby should first destroy a Big Starryflower on the ledge to create ground for it to fall onto. The Treasure Chest reveals a Gotcha Capsule when opened. Next, Kirby should proceed along the conveyor path while destroying Big Starryflowers to patch up gaps in the road. After reaching the end, Kirby can use the stairs to destroy a cracked wall hiding a Starry. Following its rescue, Kirby can reach the goal up ahead and escape the mall.

Italicized missions are hidden from view on the player's first playthrough.
- Clear the stage: When Kirby clears the stage for the first time, he will automatically save 3 Starries.
- Save the hidden Starries: 4 Starries are hidden throughout the stage, requiring Kirby to rescue them. Their locations are the following:
- Shown on a nearby ledge after defeating the Galactal.
- Inside the ice cream room, appearing onstage after destroying a Big Starryflower.
- Behind a window Kirby can access after the Crystal Wild Edge fight.
- Past a cracked wall at the end of the Stairs Mouth room.
- Make 5 Small Starryflowers bloom: Kirby must help 5 Small Starryflowers bloom to complete the mission. Their locations are:
- Found at the very beginning of the stage after destroying the Big Starryflower.
- In a hidden part of the first indoor area, at the top of a ladder found on the right side of the room.
- In plain sight in the ice cream room.
- Behind a cracked wall in the Stairs Mouth area.
- On the side of the crystal stairs created by a Big Starryflower to hold the Treasure Chest attached to a vine.
- Defeat the crystal monster that shoots meteors without getting hit by a meteor: If Kirby can defeat the Galactal without being crushed by a meteor, the mission is completed.
- Get the stairs to the destination without letting them fall: Kirby must bring the stairs through the entire third area without letting them fall to complete the mission.
