A Life Piece (also called a Stamp[1]) is a collectible item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.

Physical Appearance[]

A Life Piece is a yellow piece of diamond-shaped fabric. When five are put together, they form a star shape.

Games[]

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[]

Life Pieces serve as Kirby's health in Devilish Mode. In this mode, the player is able to take damage and be KO'd, which occurs when all five pieces are lost. Prince Fluff appears halfway through each stage carrying a Life Bead; this is the only way Kirby can restore his health aside from restarting the stage.

When the stage is completed, the player's enduring Life Pieces change function, becoming collectible items. For every five pieces Kirby brings to the results screen, he unlocks a piece of furniture exclusive to Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. To complete the game 100%, the player must finish each stage with all five Life Pieces. He/she can take damage and still finish with all five pieces if he/she takes advantage of Fluff's Life Bead and avoids damage for the remainder of the stage.
