Kirby Wiki

This is a project page started by Blue Ninjakoopa that gives a list of what needs to be done here at the Kirby Wiki. If you are going to help out, sign your name under the "Sign-up" pseudo-section under the field you will be assisting us in. There are hidden notices under said sections, but as a reminder, only use three tildes when signing, like so: ~~~

Remember, there is no limit to how many fields you can help out in. Assisting us with all of them would be grand, but one or two could also suffice.

Kirby's Epic Yarn

With this new Wii game coming up, preparation for creating articles on enemies, new abilities, etc. is requisite. It is necessary that as soon as this game is in an active user's possession that that user adds information on gameplay, finds and uploads artwork, and, as said before, creates articles on enemies, abilities, bosses, and levels.

Other Kirby series games

It has become apparent that many articles on games from the Kirby franchise are informal, small, and lack images and descriptions on the game's aspects. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is an example of one of many informal articles on games that need redoing. Some articles, like Kirby & the Amazing Mirror have information copied from Wikipedia and need to be entirely rewritten.

Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

Thanks to Gamefreak, we have a notable amount of information on the Kirby anime, but there still exist articles on episodes that lack information and need images. It is also necessary that we remove or replace the spoiler template, as a "show/hide" box is disruptive and should only be used in templates such as the one for copy abilities. The Kirby: Right Back at Ya! page itself has information copied directly from Wikipedia, and is thus legible for a rewrite. Check this category for easy navigation while helping with these pages.

  • BNK [E|T|C] (will help with removing the spoiler template until it is redone)
  • Game JetGame.pngFreak WOOOOSH! (anime episodes)

Articles that generally need help

Many articles fit this criteria, including:

There also exist articles with excessive use of the word "you", which a very unprofessional and informal word in every article's case, with these exceptions:

  • "You" can be part of a character's quote.
  • "You" is in a template located on the article.

"You" has been searched, and these are the results, should you need help locating the word:

If you use SeaMonkey or Firefox, you can type Ctrl+F to find the word "you" in an article.

We need to replace the word "you" with "the player" or "Kirby" depending on the situation.

Example 1: "You will need to swallow..." should be "Kirby will need to swallow..."
Example 2: "You can use the X Button to..." should be "The player can use the X Button to..."
