Welcome to The Superstar Arena! This page pits two recognizable characters or species from the Kirby series against each other. This is basically a popularity contest, so you can vote for your favorite.

Rules and Requirements

  1. When voting, put a # sign and then comment. If you aren't voting anonymously, then put your signature at the end of your vote.
  2. Please do not add spaces between your vote and the votes of others.
  3. Please be sure to sign your Username after you vote, unless you're voting in the anonymous votes.
  4. You can only vote once per contest.
  5. Be sure to include a valid reason to justify your vote.
  6. Make sure your reason isn't too long.

Whispy's got my vote; nostalgia, and the fact that Golems are nothing in the long run when you realize that King Golem can be destroyed in a few seconds with Smash or Hammer due to the lack of invincibility frames. Additionally, for those of you who say that King Golem does more damage, Kirby with max health in The Amazing Mirror takes 1/10th damage from King Golem's attacks, while Kirby with max health in Super Star takes 1/8th damage from the apples. ~ Timson622222 -- APPROVED!   1. Whispey Woods is a traditional easy boss that has become a staple of the Kirby series (much like Petey Pirahna in the Mario Series). Also, in Kirby Super Star and its remake, Whispey has a powered-up form that spits POISON apples (at least, I remember them being poisoned).
  2. Sure King Golem and Whispy Woods have similar attack patters but Wispy woods has always managed to come back. On top of that, in one game he uproots himself and chases you. Don't think a stone pillar can do that.
  3. Whispy Has made a lot of comebacks
  4. King Golem is easy to defeat with your three buddies, and besides, Whispy's Twin Woods form is AWESOME.

  12. According to a top 10, the 2nd easiest boss was King Golem, and #1 was Cloud N Candy. I think Arena Waddle Dee would demote Could N Candy because Kirby could inhale the waddle dee.

  15. As seen in Kirby 64, this guy has kids, and is ofcourse, a well-known character to the series. Plus, King Golem may be stone, but Whispy has nature on his side.

  17. On top of everything, in K64 he has mini Whispys, which would kick the ass of just plain golems.

The comments are REASONABLE for whispy. Heck, you can just support him, that's all you need for a vote. Getting rid of 95% of votes would mean EASY victory for king golem. Whispy, however would ONLY have 0-5 votes, meaning it would be impossible to have whispy win. ~Camwoodstock (PS: I'm using annoymus because im lazy.)

The rules do say a valid reason, but a valid OPINIONATED reason. Blue Ninjakoopa clearly said that you should vote for who you like, so this is an opinionated contest. It is not a contest where you flame the opposing side because you think they don't "deserve" to win, for the sole reason that you think they are weaker. You King Golem supporters are getting too obsessed with this contest, flaming the other side of the spectrum because you think they don't have "valid" reasons for supporting Whispy Woods. Timson622222, I did say that several of the King Golem votes should be deleted too. I'm not trying to completely usurp this battle. And your vote includes health damage, but you have to remember, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror used health bars, where almost every possible attack did 1 bar of damage, or 1/10 of the maximum health, which was 10 bars. In KSS and KSSU, the health bars are straight gauges, hence not all attacks are limited to that "1 bar" of damage. And in KatAM, you had pretty much no choice but to fight King Golem with between 5-8 bars of health. User:InvincibleCandy YumYum

I am fully aware that Kirby & the Amazing Mirror uses health bars. That still doesn't mean I had trouble with him the first time around. I beat him using multitudes of abilities without losing much health. That still doesn't mean you can speak out against opinionated votes in the manner you did, nor can you flame other users for believing what they want to.
