Content Moderator acts as an intermediary role between Rollback and Administrator. It entails more abilities than Rollback, but leaves tools such as blocking users from editing and promoting new Rollbacks to Administrators. Its abilities are:
- Rollback
- Marking edits as patrolled
- Protecting and unprotecting pages from being edited, moved, or created, with the protection levels:
- Allow all users (default)
- Allow only autoconfirmed users
- Allow only administrators
- Editing and moving fully protected pages
- Deleting and undeleting pages, files, and blog comments

Becoming a Content Moderator[]
To become a content moderator, a bureaucrat must promote you. You may request content moderator abilities at Kirby Wiki:Requests for content moderatorship. Rollback status is not required to apply, but is encouraged. Note that content moderator should be applied for with the intent to more effectively counter vandalism, not to settle editing disputes in your favor. Abuse of such will result in demotion as well as a likely block.
The content moderator position has a lower barrier of entry than higher sysop positions, but a candidate still requires steadfast dedication to the wiki for consideration.
