Kirby takes this form when he takes to the skies. He can only fly in a straight line, so you need to guide his course with a rainbow rope. He can even zap enemies with the shock wave radiating from his head!
— Figurine description • Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Kirby Rocket is a Transformation in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Elline grants Kirby this transformation when he approaches certain easels.

Physical Appearance

Kirby becomes a pink and white rocket with three red propellants. His hands appear to become small fins on the rocket's sides.

Games

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Kirby can transform into Kirby Rocket in the stages Kirby Rocket's Big Blastoff, Back to the Battleship, and in Dark Crafter's battle in The Final Battle. While in this form, Kirby can fly and defeat enemies (excluding invincible ones) by running into them. He flies forward continuously, and must be guided around by following rainbow ropes drawn by the player. In the former two stages, Kirby Rocket must navigate out of Bastron. Before assuming control of Kirby Rocket, the player is given a chance to make this task easier by drawing a route over the entire map with the Wii U Gamepad.

Kirby Rocket is the only transformation in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse that Bandana Waddle Dees cannot take on as well. This means that any players not using the Gamepad lose control of their Bandana Waddle Dee during these scenes. However, they are still able to participate to a limited extent by pressing the buttons on their Wii Remote to send Kirby Rocket a boost (which should be used with caution, as it may throw Kirby off course).
