Unused enemies[]

Kirby Mass Attack has a large amount of cut enemies, many of which have unknown behavior, and do not have finished sprites.

Name Information Image
UFO There is an enemy referred to as UFO (not to be confused with the copy ability or enemy of the same name) that appears in the files. It seems possible that is was an early version of the Flying Saucer.
Shuffler Not much is known about it, but it bears a passing resemblance to Flares.
Hammer Knight An enemy that appears to have had its head shielded, and possibly would have required Kirbys being thrown at it to expose some kind of weak point.
Block Dragon A large stone head that may have blocked passages and needed to have Kirbys repeatedly thrown at it like a Blucko.
Toroppon Not much is known about this enemy. However, its cart is fully detailed and it is possible it needed to be used for transportation.
Pytago An enemy that would have come in three different shapes. Only the dome shaped one is fully finished, and all three have red guidelines.

Spiky While it is unknown what this enemy would do, its sprite is fully finished.
Rocketon An enemy that may have appeared in the space themed levels in Volcano Valley.
KMA-Rocketon
Carryon An enemy that would have protected itself in a sort of casing.
Beta Giga Clanksprout An older sprite of Giga Clanksprout.
Beta Tortletummy An older sprite of Tortletummy.
Beta Big Blucko An older version of the Big Blucko, it seems to simply be larger version of the standard Blucko as opposed to the behavior of Big Blucko in the final game.
Big Mosomoso A larger version of the Mosomoso enemies.
Beta Big Stickle A larger version of the Stickle, as opposed to the Big Stickle in the final game. This sprite is used in the Japanese version's enemy credits sequence, but goes unused everywhere else.
Beta Ill Gate An older sprite for the Ill Gate. Like the beta Big Stickle sprite before it, this sprite is used in the Japanese version's enemy credits sequence, hinting that both may have been changed late in development.
Blipper Blippers were originally going to appear in the game, but were cut for unknown reasons. They were going to eat Kirbys as their method of attack, but were scrapped. Only the Birippers are left in the final game.
Wheelie Wheelies were going to appear, likely retaining their behavior from past games. The player would probably need to time when they fling the Kirbys well, as it seems they could only be defeated while stationary.
Bubble Fish Almost nothing is known about this enemy, aside from its sprite being finished.
Cidory A bee enemy with a crooked stinger.
Orange Ice Dice An unused variant that may have spat Star Blocks instead of ice.
Orange Ice Dinos An unused variant that may have spat Star Blocks instead of ice.

Unused Items[]

Grapes sprite
  • Grapes appear as an unused food that could add to getting another Kirby. Little else is known about them.

Unused Playable Characters[]

KMA King Dedede sprite SPEOS
KMA-paletteswap
  • There exists an options menu for coloring the Kirbys. This was later scrapped.
