In Adventure, what he does is just a minor nuisance at best; that wouldn't make him a villain. Taranza is a bad example in your case as he kidnaps Dedede and antagonizes the other bosses to fight Kirby.

Even then, Nightmare being the only antagonist in the category is just removing a substantial amount of context from the game. In general, the criteria of the Villains category should just go to main antagonists genuinely causing trouble, given that Taranza and Daroach were also included in this category. In Kirby's Dream Land he's at least acting purely on selfishness (as far as we know), which is not the case in Kirby's Adventure, where he's acting in a manner to help the people by preventing them from getting nightmares Tag: Undo

  • curprev 17:5617:56, 12 March 2023Iqskirby talk contribs 197,362 bytes −43 Undo revision 371089 by SpongeBob's Biggest Enthusiast (talk) Antagonist and villain have overlap, but they are not the same thing. Antagonist is an obstacle, an adversary; an antagonist doesn't have to be evil. If a story is portrayed through a villain's perspective, the hero is the antagonist. A villain commits acts out of malice and evil. Dedede is not doing that. Tag: Undo
  • curprev 16:2916:29, 12 March 2023SpongeBob's Biggest Enthusiast talk contribs 197,405 bytes +43 I feel that doesn't necessarily matters. There is a concept of an Anti-Villain . Even then, regarding the villains doesn't equal antagonist argument, I feel that the term antagonist and villain cab and has be used interchangeably. He’s not acting with malice or evil intention. He is an antagonist, but not a villain Tag: Undo
